Prove to me that you have a soul.

Yes, you said that if humans have souls so do rats, but do you care that they have souls?

Shaky is trying to say that all living beings do manifest their intrinsinc nature both sentient and insentient beings that we are interrelated to one another.

As the Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore expressed this idea, "The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures. It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth in numberless blades of grass and breaks into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers."

Your welcome...notworthy

Well see, you don't care, it's not a big thing, probably the last thing to go through your mind. I mean it's not your bussines, probably this is the first time you think about it. Well, it's the same with us, if there is some higher being(not God, some other being) what does it care about you and if you do or not have a soul. What I mean is that any mildly intelligent creature(elephants 4 example) hopes there is life beyond death, that there is more to it than this, but it's just a hope, a theory, no proof, no real reason for it to believe in "souls"...

but it does not mean that souls don't exist... they might, but just as much as 10 km long invisible extinct crocodiles that dig river beds.
I guess my point is there's no way to proove it.

Now 4 u 2 understand my way to view lots of things here's an example: like if someones askes himself 'why me?' or 'why not me?', anyone put in his position would ask himself the exact same questions, wouldn't they?

the proof that one has a soul is in the fact that he or she feels guilty when they do something wrong the fact that we feel things about different things that happen in our lives

But a person who has been trained to kill dose not feel guilt. Do you think that the terrorists on 9-11 felt any guilt?

4 one thing there are scientifical reasons for emotions, psichology handles all that. My honest answer is: I can't proove that souls exist, and I don't know if they do, but I'll find out when I die, so why waste my life trying to figure it out? I guess that's how God(if He exists) made things, so there is always a logical explination for things, and the only way to believe in souls and Him and angels and stuff is through a little thing called "faith".

for those that dont believe in christ or a highr being with morals it is a different matter but it says in the bible that creation it self is all the proof that we need to now that god is there andif he is there then one must make the conclusion that if one think in the bible is true then all of it is true because if one thing isn't true then all of it isn't true so if it is true then as it says there is a soul in every single human wether or not it feels guilt or has other views deppends on its beliefs

There are many things not true in the bible.

if you beileve that anything in the bible isn;t true then tell me what it is and I will give you the proof that it is true

The Earth is older then 6,000 years old.

If there had been only two people in the beginning, the human raise would have gone extinct long ago. Genetic diversity showed that we descended from a ground about 50,000 in number.

There was never a world wide flood.

There are more.

[B]😆 YOu always seem to grovel before him. Be careful. Shakya gets a ego REAL quick.

Alliance. Hi. Uh, I do not grovel with people. Shaky and I are having a discusion about souls. In regards to Shaky's ego...If I would be annoyed by someones ego on the board, I would certainly say so. Thus far, I am having no issues in that area. Do you have an ego I should be aware of? *smiles*

Possible thorn in your side,

marc 🙂

Yeah ^ what he said and much more! BTW there is a scientific explination for creation too.

Shaky. Hi. I have yet to do my "research" but I thought of something I just wanted to throw out there before I forget.

Your talking of people of different Religions having different near death experiances kinda got me thinking.

Now, I am going to post some of my thoughts, but PLEASE do not take it the wrong way. I am really just posting these thoughts cause I am looking for what you will respond with. Can you not take what I am going to propose personally? I will give you a moment to think on that.

*twidles thumbs waiting for Shaky to think and decide*

Ok, I wonder...I would venture to say that the majority of Christians that have this experience are coming back with stories of "Heavenly" or "God-like" visions. No? And that would make sense as they are believers in God. Right?

(Upcoming part...don't think I am judging please)
Now, people of other Religions are having somewhat different "visions" or experiences in terms of coming back from near death. Not so "heavenly" or "God-like". No?

So, I wonder...would you think that would be a possible arguement that there is a God...like the God that I serve as a Christian? Since the believers of Jesus are experiencing heaven and God, would that not make you wonder if there may be some truth to the Christian's cliams?

Just throwing that out there. Look forward to your response. Again I ask to really think about this on a very common sense style basis.

Go created it fully made and he could easily make it to appear older than it actually is if there wasn;t a world wide flood explaine the fact that multipple societies such as the mians have storries of the entire world getting flooded even ancient chinese culture has a story of a flood of the entire earth and historians all say that asian culture and history has more accuracy than any other ancient colture plus there is scientific facts in the bible as well

Great. Tell me...did your god invent the period?

there is no scientific facts for creation only theories all of witch can easily be disproven

Thank you, but we don't have the data yet.

If the NDE of nonbeliever (religions other then Christian) our of pain and suffering in some way, then you maybe correct, but if they are of a heavenly place, but the imagery in just different, then you maybe wrong. Do you think that is a fair assumption?

humans invented the written laguage wich if you look at the laguages used in the bible neither Greek or Hebbrew use any punctuation
