Shaky. Hi. I have yet to do my "research" but I thought of something I just wanted to throw out there before I forget.
Your talking of people of different Religions having different near death experiances kinda got me thinking.
Now, I am going to post some of my thoughts, but PLEASE do not take it the wrong way. I am really just posting these thoughts cause I am looking for what you will respond with. Can you not take what I am going to propose personally? I will give you a moment to think on that.
*twidles thumbs waiting for Shaky to think and decide*
Ok, I wonder...I would venture to say that the majority of Christians that have this experience are coming back with stories of "Heavenly" or "God-like" visions. No? And that would make sense as they are believers in God. Right?
(Upcoming part...don't think I am judging please)
Now, people of other Religions are having somewhat different "visions" or experiences in terms of coming back from near death. Not so "heavenly" or "God-like". No?
So, I wonder...would you think that would be a possible arguement that there is a God...like the God that I serve as a Christian? Since the believers of Jesus are experiencing heaven and God, would that not make you wonder if there may be some truth to the Christian's cliams?
Just throwing that out there. Look forward to your response. Again I ask to really think about this on a very common sense style basis.
Thorn,
