Yeah but I don't have superman blue pajamas and surprisingly my SS pajamas from about 10 years ago fits (well I can put them on) because of this SS has a clear advantage, now that I am dressed for the kill let this thread continue!

It IS matter manipulation. The example is there just to show that matter manipulation wouldn't work any more on Supes than it would on SS.

I read it even more and only find out his enemy is actually the one transforming energy to mass. He just hijacked the energy frequency to get in.

That scan doesn't earlier doesn't prove without a doubt he's invulnerable either to manipulation from others. Only proves he has a degree of control, but IIRC an equipment that was able to affect energy was able to affect blue's form. Someone already did so in Action Comics #734
You're reaching. He converted energy to mass, and then matched energy with another being who can do it to reverse it against his will.
I'd say that's more than good enough. It's not like SS has converted anyone to adamantium in a battle anyway.
He also resisted and drained countless energy manipulators.
How exactly am i reaching? SS manipulating matter alongside with energy has been a standard while Supes has one energy to matter feat(stated) that was affecting his own body? Heck it's not even proving a positive on the criteria on being able to do it the other way around (matter to matter transmutation, matter to energy)

Transmutation is one thing....converting energy to matter is probably more difficult.
Also matching the energy signature of someone who can do anything they think of and forcibly reversing them is a feat in itself.
My other point is that Surfer has never turned an enemy into wood during a battle either...especially another "herald" level character.
