Robert V. Gentry
Robert V. Gentry is a nuclear physicist and young Earth creationist and member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church who advocates his ideas of creation science including radiohaloes as evidence for a young Earth.
He has a masters degree in physics from the University of Florida and an honorary doctorate of sciences from Columbia Union College. He has also devised his own creationist cosmology and filed a lawsuit in 2001 against Los Alamos National Laboratory and Cornell University after personnel deleted 10 of his papers about his cosmology from the public preprint server arXiv. On 23 March 2004, Gentry's lawsuit against arXiv was dismissed by a Tennessee court. Gentry has also had strong disagreements with other creationists over details of flood geology.
I have to admit, those are pretty funny, despite their cheesy inaccuracy.
Getting back to the subject though, just about every crazy theory is backed by scientific evidence of some type. That is why so many theories are passed off as theories. They all have loopholes though.
The theory of evolution is the dominant theory among the scientific community today. Not because it is foolproof, but because the vast majority of scientific evidence points too it...and there is no other scientific theory that makes more sense.
Sceptics have been poking holes in the theory of evolution since the days of Darwin. But nobody has been able to come up with a theory to replace it.

If you would like to debate about the accuracy of the Buddhist one (in a different thread), I would be happy to participate. My best friend is Buddhist, and I found at least a dozen inaccuracies in that cartoon.
Same goes for the Mormon one. I thought it was funny...but not accurate. I think I should be able to argue the principles of my own religion better then some fictitious missionaries created by a biased member of a different religion.
Although I'm sure the others weren't accurate either, I'm only qualified to argue Buddhism and Mormonism...
