This brings up an interesting question. If man is actually made in God's image...why are apes almost made in God's image?

I'd assume that "being made in God's image" has more to do with intelligence, the capacity for reason/logic/rationality, and how our bodies are the temples for the Holy Spirit and less to do with physical likeness.
Image is a physical construct...I wish I could read Greek.

It makes sense. He's saying that we're alike visibly to God in that we're human, but it also has to do with invisible features because God isn't hermaphroditic.
Image = Male and female
= Heaven and Earth
= Spirit and flesh
= Untouchable and touchable
= Invisible and visible
= Light and darkness
= Husband and wife
= Word and body

it is more than that; it is one coin but two sides.
The image of God = one united body.Image = Male and female
= Heaven and Earth
= Spirit and flesh
= Untouchable and touchable
= Invisible and visible
= Light and darkness
= Husband and wife
= Word and body
All things that are opposites do not really exist.
