Nope... somehow the Earth is only 6k years old and every single living species that has ever existed (from mammal, dinosaur, plant, arthropod... yea that many), existed on the planet together at one time. That is until the flood came about 4k years ago and only certain animals survived. Funny thing too, the Bible tells us how big Noah's boat was; and it wasn't that big considering the task at hand.

Can someone please teach me how to prove a negative?

Creationists can say: GOD DID IT
no matter what argument I give. If i give you proof of micro-evolution, you say that it isn't evolution. If i give you proof that dinosaurs existed, you tell me that it was god with a shovel.
(I did a report on shovels. Did you know that they are the hole's only natural enemy?)
Creationists have a catch-all phrase (GOD DID IT) while rational people must come up with a coherent, logical argument with facts for each instance. You can shoot faster than we can. If you tell the masses that god made the inside of the earth out of silly-putty then while we are explaining why that's impossible, you've told them another few thousand times that if they go into texas and dig, they can lift ink off of newspaper with the goo in the ground. This is of course all hypothetical. The theory of a 'Silly Core' is still in development, BUT IT MUST BE TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS!!! TEACH THE CONTROVERSY!!!! PLATE TECTONICS IS THE WORK OF THE DEVIL!!

It was in referance to the idea of a planet "evolving", and explaining that the formations of planets had nothing to do with the theory of evolution

in each other post i mentioned astronomy. Possibly look up the differance?

Astronomy, from what I remeber is the observation of Celetial Bodies.
Astrophysics, as it's name implied delves with the laws that govern and create celestial bodies.

Though, I could be wrong.

parts of the process are probably better described using the mechanical physical side, whereas other parts will be better described by the observations of the bodies themselves.

The entire process though I would put handily under astronomy, as astrophysics falls under astronomy

You'll get a lot of half-answers and sidestepping disguised/mixed in with scientific sounding jargon; what it comes down to is "God did it" and "God works in mysterious ways".

A good book is "The Collapse of Evolution" by Scott M. Huse
And there is a scientest who can disprove evlution he is "Dr. Robert Gentry" Another book it "Mysteries of the Unexplained" by Reader's Digest, is filled with things theat can disprove evlution.
