"pooper pooper pooper pooper pooper"? 😆

I was referring to his commit about me being defensive when presented with a non-hostile inquiry.

1. I wasn't being defensive.

2. No inquiry from FeceMan is ever non-hostile.

😆

Statement: Shakyamunison's tone of posting indicates a defensive behavior.

Declaration: FeceMan is not an inquisitor, although such a position would he not be against.

You are reading into things into my posts.

Hmmm. Well, NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition...

I am actually starting to like Feceman, he has a strong loyalty to his Faith, but doesn't aim to attack anyone with it.

Marcello makes him look really good 😆

Which is what religion could benifit from - less evangelicism and more people just coming to terms with themselves.

There was a documentry recently in Australia, and it had a nice quote in it: "What the world needs is for people of faith to stop telling others what they should be doing, and start saying what they themselves are going to do for the world."

But that goes against the very foundation of Christianity; convert or be damned.

What a difference that would make.

I just wish more Christians would realize that Actions speak louder than words. Instead of bashing the rest of us, or passing superficial and misunderstood judgements, and preaching to the max, why not do something that reflects on thier Faith ?

It seems more Christians are involved in Evangelism and Business than Charities and Reparations for the Poor. Do you know how many Christians we have in government and in power, and still so how many impoverous we have ?

That boggles me big time. You know the majority of those in the United States are Christian, and many of them have the power to elevate the impoverous and help those in need, but the majority of them concentrate far more on politics, evangelism, gay marriage, and abortion, when we have always had much greater matters- povery and disease.

Then we will have many Christians who will argue that no "good acts" will get you into Heaven, that the only way into Heaven is to repent to Jesus Christ, and beleive. And then they use that logic to alleviate themselves of any responsibility towards the well being of others. Since helping others will not get them into Heaven, why bother ? There's no need.... 😬

I just don't understand that.

I wasn't sure about that stat so I had to check and I couldn't believe that it was that much 😱

An outdated foundation I feel.

I agree, but if you read the posts by people like JIA, you will see the "you are going to hell unless..." mentality prevalently.

Ah, I remember those posts.

For some reason the whole thing makes me think of a Pyramid scheme -they tell you how great it is and how you'll be rich, the only catch being you've got to savagely and constantly sell it to others otherwise you get nothing.

Any religion that sticks evangelism in as a necessary part of being a member of that faith has a problem. Fortunately not all Christians are like that, but then again that is one of those "Christians disagree thing." Some like Mormons take it seriously and quite professionally. Some like Marchello seem to get a perverse pleasure ranting their views at everyone...

This is a great article on transitional species:

Statement: Yet another fallacious representation of Christianity.

There is nothing worse than someone that disagrees with me, there for they are evil and must be beaten to death with a wet noodle 😉
