I have a life every now and then...but lulz at trying to prevent others from answering it. I'm flattered that I'm the only one you currently want to trick into agreeing with you, but others can try too.
😉
As for the question, I'd like to see what your point is in asking it before answering. Because I'm sure you want to take it somewhere, and I'd rather not answer without knowing the full question.
Though my initial reaction is that a yes/no answer to it doesn't really matter. Darwin is credited with "discovering" or at the very least popularizing evolution, but his opinion is honestly moot these days. A theory and its supporting evidence stands or falls on its own merits (or lack thereof, depending on which it is). A modern view of evolution, or creationism, with our knowledge and technology and empirical findings, is the only true way to analyze its merits. A historical perspective, while interesting, fails to meet this.
...
Also, more importantly, you didn't address a single point from my last large post. You just asked if you could ask me a question and redirected the conversation. I'm usually pretty good about meeting your challenges and questions. I'd like the same courtesy, at least occasionally, or I start to feel like I'm just wasting my time. So far, you've given me no reason to believe otherwise because you rarely address anything I say, except to occasionally post a video that dodges more questions than they answer.

Shakyamunison-The following statement, that I am prepared to make, should not be interpreted as arrogant (on your part). Fact of the matter is, Charles Darwin knew less than what molecular biologist know today. This is an obvious fact, and I am pleased that you and I agree.
You stated, however, in the latter portion of your post, "We still don't know everything about evolution. What we do not know does not support what you believe. An unknown is not evidence."
You are correct in stating that scientists are not all knowing in regard to Evolution; but your premise is completely ignorant of what scientists "do know." Your objection is completely unwarranted, and well... a little ridiculous.
May I ask you questions, and have you answer them in "Yes or No" fashion? If so, great; but we will have to continue this thread in time. I am going to bed.
Drop the yes/no bullsh*t. It's patronizing, and insults our intelligence. If you can't debate rationally, and have to resort to pre-planned questions that shunt the debate where you want it to go, then don't bother.
Also, if scientists (legit scientists, not those on a Christian payroll looking to confirm their biases) actually DID have evidence of ID, it would revolutionize science, and mainstream non-theistic scientists would be clamoring to publish the evidence. So back up your claims before insulting shakya.

What the hell is up with these Yes/No questions and why are you trying to have everyone answer the loaded questions? Also what did I do to tick you off that you will answer everyone else but not my question after I answered yours and took time to respond to your question even though you were being rude. Just my 2 cents
He doesn't answer questions. Just asks them. If they had to provide the amount of evidence that evolutionists do to back their claims, they'd die from exhaustion looking for it.

Also, in's database of counter-argument links is apparently way better than mine. Gotta start using some of these sites. I take the long road and actually destroy his arguments myself....which I'd be proud of if it wasn't so mind-numbing.

Shakyamunison and DigiMark007-
This entire conversation started after I posted a video via YouTube, and simply asked, "Is anyone going to see this move"? Then things got complicated! Feel free to re-cap, starting on page 184, and fizzling out on page 186. I am going to put the entire situation in retrospect, not to mention context. Those of you who felt compelled to make statements, I responded with a question--demanding more than a blanket statement--to support your views. Almost NEVER--and I am being conservative--did I get a "direct" response! Read for yourself. And yet, I am deemed dodging issues?! Except for my last post to Shakyamunison, all I did was ask questions (pertaining to statements made and/or "witty" comments. Period. Not me, but you, were guilty of "dodging the issues." I am just stating the truth of the matter folks.
[NOTE: IF I AM WRONG, PLEASE BRING IT TO ME ATTENTION; PROVIDE QUOTES (ON BOTH SIDES), AND PROVIDE THEM IN "CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER," PLEASE. FOR MYSELF AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE FORUM. THANK YOU.]
The reason I moved on to "Yes or No" questions, is because, "I COULD NOT GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER FROM ANYONE, NOT EVEN DIGI!" I asked him--this is not verbatim, I do not think--"Does Charles Darwin know more about single celled organisms than molecular biologists do today"? I had a point in being this direct; but it had nothing to do with deception and/or committing intellectual suicide. In other words, it was not a "trap." And I think, EVERYONE KNEW THIS! BUT WAS CHALLENGED/INTIMIDATED BY DIRECT QUESTIONING!
Love me or hate me, everyone should give me the benefit of the doubt, at minimum, I am critical. I do not like unsubstantiated statements. Have I, myself, made them in the past? I am sure that I have. But when questioned, I try to remain on the topic at hand, and THIS IS RATHER DIFFICULTY BEING BOMBARDED BY--AT WHAT SEEMS TO BE--THE ENTIRE FORUM!
With all in mind, as I have addressed DigiMark007--the same applies--I do not dislike anyone on this forum; instead, I get frustrated--and that is not to say that you do not as well. Regardless, I made the statement, and I meant it. DigiMark007, brother, I have nothin' but love for you! Nonetheless, a member of the forum actually challenged my sincerity. Absolutely amazing!
Let us suspend the entire thread for a moment. All of you, I ask: "What are you views about me"? No need to hold back; be honest! All I ask, is that you take a moment to think hard about the views you have "in themselves, and why you have them." Then, please, present your views in a fair manner, and I need not explain. I assume we are young adults. Well... Shakyamunison could be our grandfather (ha ha ha)! But that is just friendly fun.
Bardock42-
This is the original "Yes or No" question presented to DigiMark. In all fariness, he did state, that he may not respond; but I really didn't understand his inability to do so. It was a simple question. And is read, "Charles Darwin: in his lifetime, did he know more about single celled organisms than molecular biologists do today? Yes or No"?
Originally posted by ushomefreeI'd say "no". I would like to look at the whole list of questions though, please.

Okay Shaky... I will try and keep that in mind. Almost, always, in posting an opening video, it is to stimulate conversation. Moreover, when someone has a question and/or statement--that "may" need addressing, I provide an internet article. This is not because I lack an answer. As for all of you, I sometimes have a hard time communicating my views, and so I let the article (or whatever) do the talking. You can understand that, right?
Well, we're not children, so when you ask a yes/no question without telling us what it's about, we can't automatically assume duplicity isn't involved, especially when we're not told where it is leading. Also, it's still a poor way to debate. I've asked repeatedly for you to address my issues concerning creationist tactics, the video, or your questions, and you have not. You want me to say yes or no, then tell me your opinions, rather than facing reasonable objections to your opinions.
The reason you don't get straight answers from me is because the issues generally aren't quantifiable into yes/no responses, which sacrifice the complexity of the matter.
Also, I flat out told you I wouldn't answer yes/no questions. Yet you chastise me for doing just that?! Dude. Learn to actually debate, and do more than post videos, ask your pre-set questions, and claim the moral high ground while misrepresenting others' words.
