It’s been going on for years, as far back as I can remember that Christmas stuff is in the stores before Thanksgiving, as I said they are trying to boost the sales for Black Friday and get people in the mood to spend money. My wife does the Black Friday thing each year and I’ve only done it once and probably never will again, way to hectic for me.
when i used to commute a long distance to work and school, as well as working retail, i hated christmas with a passion...well not the 25'th, but every day leading up till that since black friday. even though all the market whoring doesnt so much effect me now, i think the holiday, -pagan, christian, irelevant, whatever- just sucks. commercialism and obligation has destroyed the entire season, and it just seems that the 'christmas spirit', has been replaced with exhaustion and sloth...an overwhelming thought of "THANK ****ING GOD ITS OVER!!! now it wont take me 3 hours to get to work, i wont have to deal with pissed off assholes at work, wont have to wait in line forever at wherever im shopping, goodbye santa you fat evil ****, hello regulated blood pressure. [/rant]

dude, i worked at toys r us when i was like 18. this was when power rangers blew up and every frikin kid was screaming for one but bandai strangled the market. i saw two grown women get into a fistfight over a megazord right in front of me. a little kid was digging through the shelf and found one. that was like stumbling upon a 10 karat diamond. some lady then grabbed it out of his hands, the kid's mother saw it, and proceeded to beat the shit out of her. all throughout the final weeks we had to stay till 1,2, and even 3 a.m. to clean up the store after it was torn apart...on christmas eve, at 11 p.m. about 10 police officers had to come and walk the isles and literally corral the people out of the place so we could close and get the hell out... (with my family xmas eve the big day when we all get together) i wasnt able to show up till midnight.
that day my christmas spirit kinda died.

Yeah, Christmas Spirit is overrated. Presents for Bardock is what counts.
I did it. I finally did it.
I paid a bum 200 bucks to dress up like Santa and go play at the park next to my house....then I cut is ****ing head of and watch the little kids screen and cry....
I just killed Santa and with it the Christmas spirit in the all the little shitlets.
Now I must plan my attack on the mall Santas.
