coolest looking sith lord.

although hes probably not the coolest, palpatine had an awesome look with the robe. if hed worn his rotj robe in rots hed be pretty high up on this list in my opinion. but neither of the robes he wore in ep 3 were much to look at in a full body view. otherwise..

vader is star wars, even people who havent seen any of the movies know who vader is and how badass he is.

i like nihilus, but there is something that would keep me from voting for him. his head makes him look like he has cats ears, and then looking at it like that you can see his mask has some feline charateristics to it that remove alot of the cool form it.

1. vader
2. palpatine (rotj, nobody gives off an aura of evil like him)
3. dooku (you cant look at him and hear him talk and not think hes awesome)
4. possibly maul, very cool colour scheme, or scion because he looks so twisted and freakish.

Hey does anyone know who this guy is? He's one of the first dark lords and he looks kickass.

He is the Red-Armored Sith Lord. He is one of the first Dark Lords. Some people speculate that he is Ajunta Pall, or maybe Tulak Hord. We don't know who he is though. He kinda looks like a Sith Mandalorian.

Well Ajunta Pall looked completely different in KotOR and you also get to see Tulak Hord's mask in KotOR as well so I doubt it's him. He does look awesome though.
And yeah, he does kind of look like a sith mandalorian or Red Guard or something.

My tops would be:

4. Revan
3. Naga Sadow
2. Sidious (in the red velvet robe in the senate chamber)
1. Vader

I'm inclined to put Sidious as #1. You gotta admit that he's arguably the most refined in taste and costume, with Dooku a distant second. Still, no one looks like they'll literally slap the taste from your mouth like Vader...

well he might be tulak if that pic is an ancient sith, remember? ancient sith normally use swords instead of sabers? and only later on they start to use sabers

When you look at all the other sith it is easy to see that they were human/humanoid. Vader was the only one that you never knew what exactly was under the mask. Robot, human, alien.

it was that breathing and those unpenetrable eyes that really stands Vader apart from the rest.

As well as the fact that everyone who ever watched Star Wars from original release onwards will always remember that perfect entrance. A crap load of white armoured stormtroopers. (well thought to put bad guys in white, goes against the normal conceptions) into which this unknown massive pure black monster of a bad guys strides.

My father took me to see the very first "Star Wars" in theatres when I was a little boy, and I can remember how I thought "Dark Vader" (as I used to think that's what they were calling him) looked so "neat."

A few years later, my father took me to see ESB in theatres, and I remember the sense of urgency I felt when Vader was walking through the Rebel base in the beginning, chasing Han and Leia. Talk about scary (at least to a 8-9 year-old boy)! lol!

The coolest:

NO!! If you add or change anything on Dooku's outfit then we lose the classy feel. I think the outfit is perfect, second best in the saga (after OT Vader).

Dooku's entire outfit is a nod to him as Dracula. They were talking about it somewhere when ep2 came out and then i believe its i trivia on IMDB...hence the blood red interior of his cape and such, the shorter cloak/cape etc...
