Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet versus Darkseid with the Anti-Life Equallation
Let's do the math.
The Infinity Gauntlet contains more power than the Ultimate Nullifier does.
The Anti-Life Equallation contains more power than Mxyzptlk does.

i think the powers of each item are relatively equal. in each respective universe it took the intervening of a higher level group of celestials to stop, and the weilders of the items are comparable. for all intents and purposes, i would say that the ale is the dc universes version of the infinity gauntlet.

The ALE is more likely the DC universes Equive to the pre retcon beyonder. The ALE makes mxy look like a little school girl. and mxy pretty much could come to marvel and do the same thing that thanos did with the IG.
any body could have come to the mu and done what thanos did IF they had the ig. same as saying a marvel character could do the same darkseid did with he ale. it's not saying anything.
i sort of agree with the beyonder thing, but not pre ret. and it'd be hard for a character to just own the beyonder the way the infinity gauntlet was owned.
