"yeah i think both trailor scripts we have seen are fake.
plus, they are good at doing trailers. remember the one for 2? there was a split second subliminal image of the curiosity scene, but for the most part, there was NO HINT of where the Jack/Liz deal was going. they gave lots of good teaser images, but most of them were way out of context and some of the clips weren't even in the film."-----Kate
Well, if you've seen the Phantom of the Opera trailer, it's a lot of short scenes and cuts moving very rapidly. What some "phans" did was freeze frame by frame and try to piece together the scenes. You could do that with POTC to get an idea of what they're at least showing in scenes. They managed to piece together the movie. It may not work as well since POTO is based on a book and a musical and most people already know the story, but this way you wouldn't miss anything and you could see facial expressions. Those can be quite revealing.
