What makes this statement even more ludicrous is the fact that Ellis is writing it - Why the hell is everyone paying so much attention to the Capitalistic, commercial, sell out shite that Bendis is writing, when Marvel has so many GREAT writers on loads of less "Event ie" books ?

I actually read the book. It was shit. So i'm back to giving up.
What? Xenogensis was great! It almost made up for everything Ellis did on Astonishing before it. Kaare Andrews art wasn't quite as great as it was in Spider-man Reign but it was still fantastic. Nice to see characters who all look different for a change, with completely different facial / bone structure and proportions. I'd give it an 8 Storm Mohawks out of 10.

Read the book, really liked it as a self contained story with not too many characters and crossovers and the characterisations are great. I really love the art, the detail on stuff like the clothes is great the the scene setting panels are cool.
Just really don't like the art on Emma Frost, way much for a straight girl to like. Dunno if a guy would like it or not 😛
