But a reason was given as to why Beast and Rachel choked(Wolverine V3 #3) when they encountered Logan. Which means that they weren't fighting to their full capacity. He encountered plenty of them when they chased him through that forest.
Which is clearly an underestimation of Beast. In his human form Beasts agility was pretty insane.(See X-Men First Class V1 the first issue IRRC) and in Morrisons run Beast helped to clear some impressively large debris after the Genosha attack.(New X-Men V1 116) But to each their own.
actaully racheal did not really choke at all. She was scared and needed the bomb deactivated. she suvered from cis, not pis.
also racheal also blasted Logan through doors that colossus could not even dent.
as for beast he was scared true, but he got put down all the same. If they faced off again beast be just as scared if not more so seeing as how he got dropped last time with little effort.
actaully Logan fought only two x-men. He fought havok and beast that was it. scot blasted him once and he snuck attacked north star.
actaully Im not underestimating beast at all. I own the issue your referring to. agility is not speed so that feats pritty moot since we were talking about speed.
the other feat was far from out side Logans or capts ability.

Then what the hell is everyone debating?
I think beast would not last long verse Logan, but the other person thinks he would.
in the end it really does not matter we got so off topic.
any ways astonishing is the best x-men book out however I think missah complex may give it a run for it a run for its money

No clue. Newsarama loved it though. One of their reviewers said that final page surpassed Wolverine swearing vengeance on the Hellfire Club at the end of Uncanny 133... which is complete rubbish.
oh god no... it was a very un-cyclops type line of dialogue...

I'm glad Wolverine isn't used too much in AXM.It reminds me of how it used to be, he always was a very cool character, but he never got that much face-time to begin with; he was there to do what the other X-Men couldn't and provided a bit of cynical, comic relief.
In AXM he does exactly this, for once he's not the focus of the book and is much more of a team-player, I still enjoy having him there though just because he gives some of the best one liners and he really completes a very memorable X-Men line-up.
To say Whedon has been mischaracterizing him is criminal.

you think so? i dunno... i'd have rathered he said something more... like him... 😖

And the Beast/Wolverine fight was great, because it showed that Wolverine knew Hank enough to know before anybody else, without being told that Hank was thinking about getting the cure. It may have made them seem both like thugs, but it shows respect to continuity (and the fact Hank and Logan had been team-mates for years) because it wouldn't be the first time they'd thought and shows they know each other very well.
I would rather him be on AXM than be on New Avengers.
Why? Because he's an X-Man, even if he's not doing anything he belongs there because it's his home. 😬
you shock me with your excellence... shock
spot on, completely.

scot does not need to take his visor off to go full force and never has. taking off the visor makes the blast wide range. using the visor he can focus it smaller making it even more powerful he displayed this verse blob before.
you're wrong. he might say full power, but that's just the writer exaggerating, something even cyclops himself has done before, the 'i just hit juggernaut hard enough to split the moon' blast one example... and yet he still had to take his visor off against onslaught and the sentinel to do alot of damage... the inside of the visor is coated with ruby quartz, even if he opens his eyes fully, some of it is still being reflected back at his body.
scott can only do mega blasts without his visor. any writer who says he can obviously doesnt have a clue what they're talking about.
also, if scott did a full point blank blast and logan (being that his highest level still hasnt been shown), he'd put logan down. hard.

messiah complex is looking very good so far, the writers seem to have a good grasp of what's required of them...
amazing how they can write complete shit, but once the big event comes up, they can bring their A game...

Marvel has these major events planed so far ahead right now that the issues in between are just filler. They can't change the statuesque with characters who are going to have a part to play later on so we get a bunch of pointless slop...

I saw it as a very over-due "coming of age" moment for him, he's finally managed to get out of the Professor's shadow and they are HIS X-Men. It's definetly cheesy, but I thought it was pretty badass still..

is there a chance it could be a post messiah complex thing?
