Kobe gets booed plenty on the road but it doesnt seem to bother him, in fact in many cases it causes him to play better (much like Reggie Miller).

Oh, Vininjury, he got booed by Raptors fans all the time at the end of his stint.

I dont think Booeing really does anything at all. It doesnt physc out anybody anymore. Since thier days in high school basketball they've been booed. They probably dont even hear it.

The only sport I can see that booeing really effects players might be baseball, only because the play is slower paced that any other sport and when your batting, or pitching, you might hear something.

I'm so glad the Blazers got Brian Skinner instead of him. Skinner is 2 for 2 with good games. Today he had 17 points (7 for 11), 7 rebs, and a blk. Maybe he just fits in well with the team. Too bad they were both in losing efforts. Oh well, more chances to get JJ Redick.

Anyone see Odom with that dirty throwdown on D.Howard last night? One of the dudes on the Laker forum i visit said Odom must have left his bong on top of the backboard and was trying to get it back.

omg, if the blazer get redick i might seriously cry, i'm a huuuge duke fan, and love redicks game....no offense but i would rather see him play elsewhere

Or Morrison. I'd rather have Morrison, but Redick is still great too.

God damn. 5 losses in a row for Cavs now. One more and there on track to do exactly as they did last year out of the break. Thats not a good omen.

Its the stache. Either that or a guy you'd expect to be playing D&D in his mother's basement. The mustache is so weak, it looks like the guys who grow a lot of peach fuzz but never shave it off.

vince does get bood on the road sometimes, like a spurs game i was watching...a ref made a call against vince in the final seconds of the game on a loose ball foul, vince got fouled out, vince had just scored 9 points in about 27 seconds, the fans start cheering...then they reverse the call and charge the foul to j-kidd and the fans start booing. like royke said, that means they are giving you respect, but when the home fans boo u or the team u used to be one boos u, then thats a different story. with kobe, he has been bood at home clippers and lakers games, not by everyone obviously, but by many fans at the game, all before his 81 point performance. in the media today though...i can tell u he is still seen as a ball hog, and should be. i would have LOVED to see vince kick his ass before the all star game when him and kobe almost got into a fight before the refs broke it up at a lakers home game...i know everyone calls vince a whiner, a crybaby or whatever...but he is strong as hell. do u know how much power it takes to push off alonzo mourning in mid air?? im not just talking about the dunk he did over him...he pushed off him in the air and made him drop for the second time when he did an acrobatic layup at a nets home game, the crowd went nuts. we all know how strong kobe is, he got knocked in his face by chris childs, a PG...and a former raptor. LOL.

vince has not gotten into nearly as many fights as kobe, but when vince gets into fights, he comes out on top... who remember what happened in the olympics when vince got into a fight??? and dunked over that 7 foot 2 guy in the same game because thats what drives vince, he answers back...and he did the same at the lakers game after what happened between him and kobe. after him and kobe got technicals..two minutes later..vince gets an alley, dunks over brian cook, and gets fouled, thats how you send a message.

Man how old are you? You are starting to sound like my son (he's 7) when he runs out of things to argue about. So now Vince is a better fighter and tougher than Kobe, is that really where you want to take this? Cause you are starting to sound like a desperate child trying to win a argument. You know you cant compare Carter and Kobe in basketball skills so just drop it, we all know how you feel.

yea, comparing Vince and Kobe is Like comparing John Paxton to John Stockton (not really, but you get the point)

Hey Vince- I think it would be a good idea if you worried more about the Sixers taking the division than posting on a movie message board on how jealous you are of Kobe. Just a thought.

kobe is a far more complete player than vince. hes a better scorer, and a much better defender. just because vince can dunk a bit flashier dont mean anything, ooooooo he dunked over frank weiss whose 7ft2".... which nba team does he play for?...... exactly. if that was an nba player i'm pretty sure vince woulda been on the floor facing two free throws...
and from the people in the media i've seen they all seem to sympathise with kobe for taking so many shots... he just doesnt have the team mates. i tell you now, if teh lakers had richard jefferson and j-kidd and that center(forget his name) they'd be a contender. are the nets? they have a decent record... but they aint winning now rings... they aint even getting to the eastern finals unless everyone gets hot

That would suck, but I personally don't think Utah is going to make any serious push. I see them standing pat right where they are so unless the Lak's and the Kings start sucking, I don't see Utah getting in.
