or what about vince, t-mac, and then bosh comes along...that would b amazing. if t-mac had just stayed with the raptors, we could habe been and could be a championship contender which is unlikely for many years to come. well, thats what i think...if u think the raps can make the playoffs next season or even this season, then u tell me.

next season... posssibly. but iu'm not expecting it. as long as bosh continues to gain experience, and charlie v, calderon and graham get better theres a chance this team will become pretty decent

I think they have a good chance of being a playoff team. A couple of games ago, they were 4 back, which isnt that much.

Bosh will be great, Charlie will be good later, and Graham I have no idea about.
But they're not going anywhere until they find a big man who can rebound. Thats what they need.
Also, they need a PG who is better than Calderon. Also, much better defense because they suck as defense.

Tanjot, that team would of never happened because your looking at 30-45 million dollars in payroll for three guys. (Maybe even more)

Plus the draft picks wouldn't have lined up for Bosh and you'd have nobody to guard the 2's and 3's.

True.

Orlando has traded Steve Francis to NY for Trevor Ariza and Penny Hardaway. This seems like a good trade for Orlando because they get rid of Francis's huge contract and get Penny's expiring contract, leaving them pretty stocked to pick up a good FA in the off season. I dont know much about Ariza but he seems to be able to play either SG or SF. NY on the other hand take on another massive salary with Francis and now have two PG's who have max contracts. Also i cant see how you can play Marbury and Francis together, both need to dominate the ball to be effective and neither can play SG (Francis has no outside game and Marbury is too small). I can only think that maybe Marbury is being moved, but who would take on such a huge contract except Isiah?
The Lakers got a solid win against the Blazers (payback from last time Myth), the Blazers really shot themselves in the foot but shooting around 40% from the charity stripe. Odom had a monster game with 20pts 17 boards and 6 dimes, now if he could just copy and paste that in every game we'll easily make the playoffs. Next up the Queens, may the best team win Dr. 😈

Blazers lost? Big surprise. 🙄

Could have been close if they had hit their FT's.
What do you think of the latest Knicks trade Myth?

i think isiah is the worst gm in history.... i just dont see this team playing together well...i think you're right though, marbury will be traded, or maybe francis will in the offseason? they may wanna keep steph for hometown sake... but in my opinion... hes never proved himself as a premier player. the teams he has been on have never really done much. good luck to the guy though, would be nice to see him bring a team up into playoff contention.

on another note... magic seem to be thinking of trading grant hill, to leave even more cap space open... it think orlandos plan is positively for the future. dwight howard could be a potential great, hes already a monster. if they get some more young good players then orlando are going to be good.

i dont know...

i dont wanna get my hopes up, but ill def be checking it out

highest paid backcourt? gotta amount to sumth'n...

Dont forget that Jalen Rose is on that team, and he's making 13 mil this year and 16 mil next year.

Yeah, their FT's were not where an NBA team's should be.

As for the Knicks trade, I love it. As I'm sure you've heard me say before, I like all of my least favorite players on my least favorite teams so they are easy to root against. I've been rooting for the Magic because of Dwight, but I haven't liked Francis since Yao came into the league and helped me realize that Francis doesn't like sharing the ball even when he does have help. Now we have two ball hogging point guards on the Knicks. Love it. Hopefully the money will pay off to get Dwight some assistance in the future. Once Penny's contract runs out now, they'll have the lowest sallary in the league. I'm hoping they'll pick up Pierce in 2007.

oooooo dwight and pierce.... that would be a sick combo... rather pierce in toronto though😄 i doubt it very much but i can hope!
i think steve francis is a good player... and he could get better, but myth, you're right... he does ball hog a little too much. and with steph in teh same backcourt i dont see teh knicks improving too much at all... unless suddenly they all come together, get into the eight spot and get to the finals and beat the mavs in 7 games.... oh wait... i'm back into reality😄

Im not sure if Francis hogs the ball or he doesnt have the skills to score any other way but off the dribble. Either way it doesnt bode well for the Knicks front court players.
As for Pierce, ive always liked his game. I'd love to trade Odom for him but i dont think our GM has any pictures of Danny Ainge committing bestiality.
If Orlando can attract some good FA's then they could be a force in a couple of years, Howard will be ridiculous by then.

Blazers finally unloaded *announcer voice* Rooooooooo-ben "The Raaaaaaaa-pist" Patterson. I like the trade for the Blazers. We get a lot of cap room by getting rid of him for Potastinko and Lenard. We most likely loose in the talent category but it will still be alright if Lenard ever re-learns how to shoot 3s, which would be a definite plus for the Blazers. If not, it still works out salary wise for the future because Lenard's contract runs out end of the season.

Hopefully Flip Murray fits in for the Cavs next to James. If not, they only had to get rid of Mike Wilks who was a non-factor for the Cavs.

This is going to be Mamba by the end of the night courtesy of Mr. Artest.😮‍💨

Love the Francis trade. Hopefully this will lead Larry to resign because of the mess of all messes Isiah has created and coaches the Kings next year. 😈

Very nice Dr, but this will be Bibby after Kobe breaks the Queens backs (again).

😈 😮‍💨

I was wrong about that trade with the Blazers. It was reported as one thing but now apparently what officially went through was this:

Sonics get Earl Watson, Bryon Russell 2008 2nd round pick and cash
The Nuggets acquired Reggie Evans from the Sonics, and Ruben Patterson and Charles Smith from the Trail Blazers.
The Trail Blazers acquired Voshon Lenard from the Nuggets and Brian Skinner from the Kings.
The Kings acquired Vitaly Potapenko from the Sonics and Sergei Monia from the Trail Blazers.

Brian Skinner is a slight upgrade from Potapenko but I liked Sergei Monia. I'd rather keep Monia and get Potapenko. Oh well, I guess I'm being nit-picky about the players that really don't get any time anyway.

he must have bibby's barber too

Ouch! Ron Artest called Kobe out before the game saying he always shuts down scorers and holds them below their averages, Kobe's answer: 36pts 6 boards and 10 dimes. Lakers win in a blowout, better luck next time Dr.
