Damn, we have nobody to blame but ourselves. Our defense was pathetic all game, you cant expect to win when you come to play with that effort.
Obviously nobody told our guys it was a must win game, even with our piss poor effort we still could have had it. But a mistake by Smush (im gonna chalk that one down to inexperience) when he drove early in the shot clock but should have held it really cost us and let the Suns tie it up in regulation.
We defended the pick and roll terribly, i thought those days were over once Shaq left. We have to make some adjustments to that or Nash will just pick us apart.
I dont think our youngsters will respond and lift their games in game 7, Kobe will have to carry the offense and we already know that doesnt get us a win against this team. The confidence is with the Suns now and i would expect them to close this out at home (which is what we should have done tonight).
Still if we do lose the next game i am still proud of what we have done this year. Not many even picked us to make the playoffs but we not only did that but nearly knocked off the 2nd seed. Our young players have grown alot and Lamar will be an All Star finally if he carries on like this. Kobe has shown that he can play distributor now the others are comfortable in the triangle and things are looking good for the Lakers. We are definitely well ahead of where i thought we'd be at the start of this season, im very optimistic.
He had a badly sprained ankle against the Sonics and was out for all but the last game of the season (nearly 2 months). He came back for the last game but re-injured it and had to sit out the 1st round, he may be ready to go against the Clippers if we can pull off a miracle in Phoenix. He was having a great season to.
i only have one thing to say....
KWAME and LAMAR officialy have my respect.
and one more thing...
f*ck the referees... they called this game as tho it's not a playoff elimination match. too many bs calls (simple touches) in the 1st 3 quarters to get the lakers in foul trouble then comes 4th QRTR. they would let the suns literally batter kob without calling at least a f'n non-shooting foul....SMFH
kobe shouldve gotten a couple of and 1's down the stretch.

oh...im glad to hear that. i did not know that the heat-bulls series had been decided, i dont keep track with either team...i thought the series was going in to a game 7, but w/e. looking forward to vince torching the heat.
