it's obvious what you said, but that does't make the topic at hand any clearer........i'm not asking you to repeat yourself, if you made all your points and feel like the discussion can not go on any further, thats fine, we'll get back to the playoffs, speaking of which, huuuge game on tonight with Clips/Sun

Am I seeing this correctly? The game is on @ 10pm tonight? Why 10? there's no other game on tonight before this one right?

Well it's in Phoenix isn't it? Or LA is still pretty far from the East coast, so yeah, 10:00 is right. There are time zones.

GO CLIPPERS!

And GO MAVS AND CAVS!

yea, i don;t know why they'r showing the game at 10, they'll reschedule a Pistons/Cavs game to show a Dallas/SA game earlier so why not do the same with the Clips/Suns....its retarded

How many of you think Duckworth was a scrub? not me
How many of you think he wasn't? me
How many of you have never heard of him? atleast 4 of us have(me,you, kool, myth)
How many of you actually saw him play and didn't just look up his stats? see above answer
How many of you think he's Scrooge Mcduck's butler from Ducktales? never really watched Ducktales

http://eiuhalloffame.com/duckworth/defendduck.html.....i browsed through this and i don't get it, he's defending an allstar player from people who don't like him...i'm assuming your just pointing out the similarities, but there are a ton of cases like this where some people considers someone a scrub not because they aren't good, but just because someone doens't like them, and another person jumps on the bandwagon and agrees and the bashing catches on like wildfire, keep in mind i'm not accusing you of being one these people, its just my opinion on why a player like Duckworth gets bashed

I will argrue with you that Shawn Bradley is a scrub tho....that dude has performed so much under his potential it's damnnear pathetic..you'd think someone who's like 8ft tall could rebound

wat about non-deserving allstars? anyone remember chris gatling? 🤨

He is only famous for getting smashed on by Shawn Kemp with that sick grim reaper dunk in the 90's. That is one of my favourite in game dunks of all time.

Ohh, Koolz please post it when you get a chance. I wanna relive that moment. 😱

Fans also dont like him because he slacked off while he was there near the end of his tenure. The combination of demanded a trade from an franchise that gave him everything (except Dr. J as his coach) and not playing to his full potential the last season is the reason fans dont like him. And please dont tell me he didnt slack off while he was an Raptor.

I hope he never gets his jersey retired in Toronto. It would be a disgrace for the team.

umm...vince has won the rookie of the year..AND... the 2000 slam dunk contest. how the **** did you forget about that one!!?? vince has also been named to the nba first and 2nd team. he put us on the map. he has set many MANY record in the raptors franchise which include the regular season and the playoffs. as a raptor, in the playoffs vince set a record for most 3 pointers at the half shooting 8/8 3 pointers and finishing with 9 to go along with 50 points which forced the game 7 against philadelphia in the conference semifinals to begin with. vince has gained for the raptors, and what he has gained is respect. without vince, the raps may have been as the same spot the former vancouver grizzlies are at right now. a city dearly in love with their toronto maple leafs took heat of the raptors only because of vince carter and there after began to fall in love with the sport itself and not just vince carters impossible shots and dunks over the top centers every other game. vince is obviously not a selfish player or person either as he held the all star charity game. the raptors definitely should retire vince carter's jersey for what he did for the team as a great player and also for the great things he has done for the community.

I'll do better than that bro, check this "Reign Man" montage out. Oh the memories, this cat was a freak of nature.

Also i made a mistake with Gatling, it was actually Alton Liston that he dunked on and then pointed at him lying on the floor. He does dunk over Gatling in this video though, Gatling shakes his hand straight after as if to say "you got me".

Enjoy everyone.

Aww, man Awesome!!! That's all I have to say, just Awesome!!!

The Manimal himself. That boy could jump higher than giraffe pussy_

I remember one time he jumped so high he hit his head on the top of the backboard.

That grim reaper dunk was nasty man, I remember that, I like how he pointed at him afterwards 😂

That was pretty cool by Gatling to shake his hand like that, he just had to give it up.

Anybody ever owned a pair of Kamakazis?

Thanks for the memories Koolz

No problem man, they have loads of cool hoops videos on youtube.

The Suns going to game 7 again, this has got to be taking a toll on them, they've had a small rotation of players for most of the season and they play at such a high pace it has to hit them sometime.

This has been the best playoffs for a while imo.

Yeah, it seemed like just yesterday they were hosting a game 7 against another LA team 😉

You're right tho it should take it's toll eventually.

What I can't figure out is why do we have to wait till Monday? why not Sat or Sun?

No doubt ✅

Btw, Terry being suspended for that game tomorrow is bullshit

damnit, i want to see the rainmain highlights, but my comp is being retarded......

I don't know about that, Terry did punch him in the balls, or try to atleast, and when i seen that i busted out laughing....it was so sneaky and dirty, it was almost genius how low-key it was, it seemed the only people who knoew about it where him and finley, tv crews and even other players on the court were obliviant as we were......

Clippers did a good job tonight, they controlled the tempo, only ran the ball when they had numbers....I think Phoenix will take game 7 with the homecourt behind them, its funny that when Phoenix has to adjust stradegy after its a loss, the stradegy is "how do we score more".......thats all they make is offensive adjustments, eventually its gonna cost them, but i not against the clippers, but in this years playoff there is no telling

I heard that man, im done with making predictions this year (at least until i forget i said that) its so wide open after the Cavs/Pistons series anyone could take the title.

Tru, but if they wanted to be consistent they should've suspended Shaq too for elbowing Carter and that didn't happen.

ah the reignman... i'm still amazed now as i was when i was a teen watching that for teh first time. still aint no pippen on ewing though😛

Talk of Vince Carter getting his number retired??

What the hell is the world coming to...

The only players in the leauge worthy of retired numbers is.....noone. Maybe Shaq. David Robinson should have his number retired if it isnt already, im not sure. If Kobe has keeps having seasons like his last one, then definitely him. If LeBron James keeps this level of skill up, then definitely him. If Jason Kidd can lead a team and WIN the championship, then definitely him. I think Steve Nash still has a ways to go before earning a retired jersey too.

Players who have previously had numbers reitred are GREATS that practically changed the game of basketball. Chamberlain, Dr. J, Jordan, Oscar Robertson, George Gervin etc. I dont think anyone in the NBA right now actually lives up to their legacies, maybe in a few years.

yeah but think about reggie miller, he was'nt exactly the greatest player in the nba, maybe not even top 10 at his best... but what he did was be very extremely good at what his job was, creating havoc on defence and being a clutch shooter. dont think he was particularly a great player in the same way as the players you've just mentioned, but what he did was give teh pacers all of his years of playing 110% and being a good man off the court in indy too.

vince may well get his retired in the future, depending on how he ends the last few years of his career. if he gives it everything then good for him.

good point on d-rob. great player and deserves his jersey retired, same for sean elliot if he already hasnt.

i think steve nash certainly will in the future. 2 mvps in a row? thats pretty good going whether you agree with them or not. cant knock the impact hes had on the league.

reggie maynot have been the greatest players in the NBA or top 10 greatest but he was definetly the greatest ever to put on a Pacer uniform and is certainly a hall of famer, you don't have to be a legend to get your number retired, although some of reggies performance were legendary....i believe both laimbeer and vinnie johnson have there numbers retired for detriot, statistically they maynot deserve to have there numbers retired, but what they did for and brought to the table for
the pistons franchise accomadates them for there numbers being retired

RZA-thats a good point on how they didn't suspend shaq with that elbow on carter, but carter did jump on shaqs back, i know he was going for the ball, but thats the only reason i can think on why the didn't suspend shaq...but yea, he shoulda been suspended for that

The Pistons are going to beat Cleveland today.

Any other opinion is obsolete. 😛
