I wouldnt like that trade if i was a sixer fan either

nice sig, my money is on deadpool

The problem with trading AI is even though his value is at its lowest, its still gonna be hard to get back the kind of entertainment value that he brings. He sells tickets and even if you get back a couple of great players AI is the face of the Sixers and has been for years.

Without a doubt, its hard to picture Iverson in anything but a Sixers Uni...and i'm not gonna enjoy Big Ben in a Bulls uniform either.

i wouldnt mind that trade if i was philly.... IF igoudala and korver can become more consistant scorers and webber can still average 18 a game then its a good trade. miller will provide some points with some easy looks for people with his passing, and camby, though a little injury prone, is an excellent blocker and rebounder, and would be a good mentor to dalemburt. iverson leaving any team would be hard... but i think its time for a fresh change.

Hey Darth, why do you think of Raptors now?

It's a competly different team.
Does anybody know anything about Anthony Harper and Solomon ( I think that's his name)?

Thats a pretty big "IF"....Iverson is not the problem with Philadelphia, he's just a scapegoat...Iverson is the only one on that Sixers roster gives them a chance at winning, trading him is damn near retarded imo

smasandian...

i quite like it... salmons should be a nice add, apparantly hes a pretty versatile player playing either the one or two spot. tj ford could become a great pg, hes certainly got potential! losing charlie V was a bit disappointing... but i'm cool with what colangelo does. bargnani may well develop into a good player, people have been impressed with his play so far.

Yah.

It's just funny how different the team is. It would be interesting on how good Anthony Parker plays considering he's labelled as the best player outside the NBA, and has won MVP Euro twice.

Did the Raptors sign Parker then? That dude has got a really nice game, can score inside and out, great playmaker and can also d it up. Great pick up for the Raps, i heard they were interested but didnt know they had got him.

They did.

3 years for 20-23 million.

I dont know either. I guess whoever drafted him lost his rights.
They're also looking at Spanish forward Jorge Garbajosa and they're draft pick Uros Slokar.

That's good that Parker is a good guy.

He's a great player to have on your team, does a bit of everything. He should form a nice partnership with Bosh, i can see him getting alot of easy pts from Parkers playmaking.

Here's a couple of videos to show what kind of player you can expect, obviously he wont be able to dominate like this in the NBA but the dude has crazy skills that will make the Raptors a much better team next year.

Cool cool.

Well, anybody can make the Raptors a much better team.

except for me! haha....

parker should be a good addition... forgot to mention him! tj ford at the point excites me... we havent had a pg this exciting since mightymouse, and i aint counting kenny anderson! haha

just popped on nba.com... seattle's nba and wnba franchise have been sold to an oklahoma based group... does this mean they're moving towns? i know there was talk about it before because they wanted a bigger stadium or something?

Ahh even Stoudimare wasnt a true PG., but then again, he didnt really have Bosh on the team.

If Ford can pass, and not be like Mike James( By the way, did you hear his press conference), then everything will be good.

I like the Raptors roster for this coming season, they have a nice blend of youth and vets. If they can play consistent defense, who knows they may make the playoffs.

PG - Ford / Martin
SG - Peterson / Williams
SF - Parker / Graham
PF - Bosh / Sow
C - Bargnani / Rasho

Admittedly i dont have a great knowledge of the lesser known players but that looks like a decent foundation to build on. How are you guys set for cap room?

Very good. before the Parker signing, we were up at around 12 million I think.

Sow wont play because he got injured and it's the neck. I would think that Bargnani would be more suited for SF than C.

Seriously? Isnt he like 7ft or something?

He is, but he doesnt play as an C. Too thin and not very good being in the low post. That's what the gripe was during the draft against him.

He plays like an more athletic Dirk.

He can play the position but he'll be shooting three more than he is down low. Also, he isnt very good defensively and other C's will dominate him. The Raptors need a big guy to protect Bosh, who is in the same boat as the big Italian.

I like the recent pick up by the Bulls with Adrian Griffin. They are still making moves and shaping up nicer and nicer.

I think he'd have just as much trouble staying with LeBron, T-Mac, RJ or some of the other SF in the league. He'll probably be asked to bulk up a bit so he can play PF/C, that seems to make more sense than asking a 7footer to develop the kind of foot speed required to defend SF's. I guess Rasho is a decent stop gap for now.

Agreed, his is alot more stable than JR Smith. Maybe not the athletic talent but Skiles prefers smart players that will listen. They picked up Eisley for Smith so that will give them a vet PG that can hit the 3.

I hear the Suns have picked up Marcus Banks to, i really wanted the Lakers to get him because our PG defense was so bad last year and Banks is a pit bull defender. We instead got a dude who used to play in the NBA but has been playing in Europe the last couple of years called Shammond Williams. Word is he is very quick and is a excellent 3pt shooter, seems we are surrounding Kobe and Lamar with people who can knock down wide open shots off of double teams with the addition of Vlade Rad to. Its a sound theory but i would have liked to have seen us address our defensive problems to, maybe we can make a trade for a decent shot blocker before training camp starts.
