Well I was going to post my NBA Live playoffs, but I got a 360 now and I did the whole thing on Ps2. From what I remember though, Suns won the championship over the Pistons in 7 games. They lost 2 games altogether before the finals. Pistons beat the Heat 4-1 because Wade got injured. One game, Shaq, Jason Williams, both fouled out, and Wade was injured, and I still almost won. I hit a buzzer beater 3 with Posey, but in OT i lossed because depending on Antoine Walker will not get you.
I forgot to mention, Amare played for the Suns. I forgot to take him off. And in OT games, I flip a coin to see witch team I control. There were a lot of Buzzer Beaters also. Bibby hit a three to tie it against the Spurs, but it didn't really matter they still lost the series. The very next game Ginobli hit a short jumper to win it. Pistons vs. Cavs, went into 4 OTs. Antonio McDyss got an offensive rebound and put it back in to go up with less than a second left. I almost won it with Eric Snow at the buzzer too(James fouled out). The final score was 180 something to 180 something. It was a crazy game. In the Mavs and the Spurs series, there was two tip in Buzzer Beaters to win the game. Once, it was tied, Bowen shot with 3 seconds left, Tim Duncan got the rebound and tipped it in at the buzzer. I swear the second the ball left his hand there was .1 left. Then in an elmination game, same thing happened, except this time it was Horry, and this time they were down by one, so they would have lost. Mavs ended up winning in game 7 though.
Joe Johnson, Finals MVP, also hit a buzzer beater to win game 5(i think.)
The Live games are so much better than the 2k ones. the 2k7 may have realistic faces, but the flow and player movement is so bad. the players look like stick figures, and when they dribble, OMG its so horrible. plus, it may not matter to most people, but when i play nba games, i want the commentators to talk in a realistic fashion. in the 2k7, there is kevin harlan commentating on every single play like, "The pass to Billups...swings it over to prince...gives it to wallace, passes it to hamilton...wallace with the shot...wallace with the miss...haslem with the rebound...the outlet to williams...the pass to wade, etc.
I always hear about how great and realistic the 2K series is but i just cant see it. The animations in Live 06 merked the ones in 2K6, i played one game of 2K6 and took it back to the video store. The jumpshots looked awful, even the players themselves which is supposed to be a selling point were terrible.
Live 06 was easily the best yet, im still playing it now. From what i've been reading on IGN Live 07 will be even better.
Oh, well if you havent played Live 06 you will be in for a real treat if you get 07. The superstar feature was a great addition last year and the dynasty mode was alot more refined. I have played about 8 or 9 seasons so far and built a real nice team with legit trades. My Lakers are
PG - CP3, SG - Kobe, SF - J.Howard, PF - Bosh, C - Okafor.
I surrounded them with cheap but solid role players and im still under the cap.
