The game hasnt froze or anything?

yeah, 360's are supposed to be faulty. thats the reason i didnt get one.

i've had no trouble at all. nba2k6 has worked perfect, pgr is fine, and lotr bfme2 is working nicely too cept for a bit of slow down when things get messy

i wasnt the system thats faulty,,,its the game.
MS has not control of the source code for the game

well the games been fine!

with 360 or not, i still like live better, though

This years NBA Live looks good, but from the reviews of this and 2k7, they say the Lives gameplay is very bad and years behind 2k7. I have never played 2k in my life, but I'll rent both and see what I like better this year.

i heard coach K offered one of the Italians a scholarship

I'm sure that kid was alreadywell recruited, and he offered him a scholarship before he even started coaching the U.S team

Live use to be way better than 2k, but that changed like two years ago, most of the people refuse to convert because they either dont give 2k a chance,or its because 2k sucked so bad in the past they refuse to give it a 2nd chance.....2k has made there games more realistic were the players play like the players in the NBA, B. Wallace rebounds better than anyone, some players are faster than others, some shoot better than others, Ect. In Live Yao Ming can beat Allen Iverson in a footrace to be the ball, not gonna happen in 2k

well i saw 2k6 and it really sucked. the way the players dribble, and the way they shoot, dunk, run, etc. unless 2k7, is a complete change, im not going to give it a 2nd chance.

ive always loved nba live...the dunks in 2k5 and 6 were horrible...about 6 dunks in total and all of them were simple one and 2 handers with no extension, and im talking about highflyers such as vince and wade. the gameplay was also MUCH better in live than in 2k...amazing dunks, passes, and overall gameplay..just so easy to get into as a starter.

I just dont like 2k sport games. The ones for XBOX 360 have been buggy as shit, I couldnt even finish games.

Both games havnt been released, but I read that NBA Live has some insane graphics. But we wont know until they are released.

depends wat experience you want though. nba live i've found is good for people who want that excitement... nba2k6 however is much more realistic and play based. its liek fifa versus pro evolution in the football/soccor games... people like fifa because they can score easy. i prefer pro evolution as its a lot more rewarding and realistic.

do you mean more realistic as in the teams that are better will win more often like in real life? For example, the Spurs vs. Sixers, the spurs would win more games in real life. Are you saying that in the 2k games the spurs would win more than the sixers, while in the live games the sixers would win as many as the spurs or even more? basically, the teams in the 2k games are more realistic.

well, since ive only seen trailer of the 2k games, i dont know about that, but still i want individual realistic gameplay. in the 2k games, iverson dribbles like antoine walker, and when you see that, you know thats just wrong.

Nellie's going back to the Warriors. Not a bad move, Nellie's up tempo coaching style should help guys like Davis and Richardson a lot. And Davis can't ignore a guy like Nellie like he did with Montgomery.

Well I know in live, for Ps2, I kill anyteam with the Sixers because I am amazing with Iverson. But if I simmed a season, no the Spurs would do way better.

yeah i just heard that, but who cares? ultimately, no matter if the warriors have the best coach or the worst coach, they still suck and they wont make the playoffs.

So the US beat Germany and now they will face Greece while Argentina will play Spain. So these are the top 4 teams left all are undefeated. I can understand Argentina and Spain but Greece? I don't get that. I would've thought Italy or France especially if Parker were healthy would done much better than Greece. Anybody else following FIBA?

My impressions on the US team overall, is I like em, especially the young legs and athleticism on this team but I think they could've really used a pure shooter on the team like a Michael Redd or Ray Allen or someone like that. I think this would've opened up there game more and not to mention give them a clutch and consistent shooter. I think the inclusion of Chris Paul was absolutely brilliant and I don't mind having role players like Battier on the team but I really don't get the inclusion of Joe Johnson? Why him? Why not have a guy like Shawn Marion instead or a defensive stopper like Bruce Bowen.

Btw, I feel that the Warriors are a pretty good team with talented players. If they can stay healthy and now with Nelson at the helm, I think they can make the playoffs this year.

On a sidenote is anyone actually watching the WNBA? I'm just curious to know how many people are actually watching.

Oh yeah one last thing, they released this years NBA schedule.

USA will win easily, argentina is pretty good, and they will beat spain, but the US will beat them in the final. did shawn marion tryout for the USA basketball team? Cause you cant pick him if he doesnt try out for it. they released bowen because he only can do defense, and he doesnt bring in another dimension to the team. joe johnson is pretty good defender himself, and hes another skilled forward that can drive, dish, and score. i guess michael redd would be nice, idk.

No, nellie wont improve the team much. just look at larry brown. he won a championship and made it to the finals twice in 2 years for detroit. and when he was hired by the knicks, what did he do? UM.... he got them to the worst record in the NBA. See, every knicks fan was so excited and said, "now we have larry brown, so we're making the playoffs and eventually winning the whole thing." And I knew the knicks would only go south. larry brown is one of the best coaches in history. but coaches can only do so much. its the organization's decisions (isiah thomas) and the players' performances that determine the team's success or failure. larry brown cant coach a team that's uncoachable (cough...stephon marbury...cough) i think the warriors are the same way. they have a lot of talent, like the knicks, but both the warriors and the knicks dont have any chemistry or fluidity at all, which detroit does. In my opinion, the knicks and warriors have just as much if not more individual talent than detroit. but detroit is a much better TEAM. That can be the difference between the BEST and WORST in the league. just look at the warriors' record last season. they were one of the worst in the NBA. Now you think they're going to make the playoffs with just a coaching change? nellie's a great coach, but hes not superman.

I watch the WNBA sometimes, but its popularity is going south. I think they should change something. Ask yourself, what makes the NBA so popular? What do fans pay their money to see? Answer= dunks and crazy moves. So, they should lower the basket for the WNBA so the women can dunk.

i do think a majority of people watch teh nba for dunks... but you have to remember these teams have been supported for years, and have a huge fan base behind them. with the wnba it'll take a while for people to start realising theres some decent talent there.
