it doesnt matter if they know it is win or go home or not. they treat every playoff game like they have to win it in order to move on. its just, sometimes the momentum or shooting touch is not there. sometimes, a team doesnt play there best, simply because of an off night. win or go home doesnt have much to do with it. teams always play their hardest, but that doesnt mean they always win.
For example, i consider the spurs to be better than the mavs. thats just my opinion, but in the playoffs they squared up in game 7, all tied up, in the SPURS home court. now they knew that it was win or go home, but they still lost. does that mean that i change my mind, and say that the mavs are better? no, because its one game. do you understand that ONE FREAKIN game shouldnt determine who you think is better. so, if the raptors beat the spurs by 6 points in one "win or go home" game, you would think that the raptors are better. that is just complete nonsense, and if you say so, i dont know how im going to convince you that the US was better than Greece. its like trying to convince you that 1+1=2 instead of 3. everybody has to know the elements and basics behind basketball in order to have an argument about something. but if your logic is equivalent to 1+1=3, than i simply cannot argue with you because your never going to fully understand what im saying. unless, the raptors and spurs switched rosters, i dont know how you can say that the raptors are better. they're just not. they have a worse record, worse chemistry, worse leadership, worse coaching staff, worse management, and above all: worse players! so, how can you possibly say that there better? just because they beat the spurs in one, what you dwell on so much, "win or go home" game. thats not right. as ive said about a million times to you, its not about who wins 1 game, its about who wins more games more consistently. and you somehow cant understand that, and if you cant, whats the point of arguing? we're going nowhere.
so, its been nice debating with you, as we are killing some time in this sluggish offseason, but at the same time, arguing with you is like arguing with a squirrel (no offense). what i mean is we have totally different views of the game, therefore it is meaningless to argue.
