I knew this would happen, even though I didnt want to see it. Yes, I'm glad that we won game 3 but if you analyze that game more you'd know the outcome of game 4. We basically had the perfect game from the Lakers. Great intensity, Kobe goes off for 45, and he gets help by Kwame and Lamar. Not to mention Amare was the only one playing his game that day and we barely won. We must basically have a perfect game just to have a chance to beat the Suns.
It hurts seeing these Suns bully us around and we cant do anything about it. Amare says he's goin to do something to Kwame and look at his stat sheet: 27 points and 21 rebounds. I know Kwame tried his best, but it hurts seeing our opponent talk trash and we cant stop it. I'm telling you, we need to fix up this team now.
We dont have the firepower or the experience to run with the elite teams. We can hold on to our core but that will only wear kobe's patience thin. I'm telling you, Kobe needs help now. He wont call out any players directly, but it's obvious he wants new players around him. Management needs to do its job over the summer and fix this problem real quickly.
I've never had this much dislike for an opponent since the Webber Kings. I dont see anyone on their team that's classy except perhaps Marion. Nash, Amare, and even their own head coach doesnt give us credit when we beat them. Rather they say it's because of a lack of energy. I just hope that one day we have a team to match theirs, and make their playoff run a living hell. And like I said before, only way to do that is to make changes to this team.
Amare 27 pts 21 Rbds - What a f*ckin beast!
Who was it that said he wouldn't be a factor in this series? WTF?? Was that a joke?
Nash - 23 Assists 😑
I tell you if Amare can play like that consistently for them throughout these playoffs, I think I might be a Suns believer. Make no mistake tho Barbosa is still key to the Suns success, his quality minutes keeps Nash rested.
As far as the Lakers go, maybe now they'll finally address their pt. guard issue which should've been addressed last season. But this is still a young team and Bynum and Farmer will only get better, plus the Lakers were limping into this post season. Some would say it's fitting that they get eliminated by the Suns who were limping last season.
Btw, was I hearing things or did the announcer at one pt. say that Smush was a 'very good defensive player'?
As far as Phil goes dare I say the Zen master may have lost a bit of his Zen?
I know one thing, Riley's going fishing, uhh...actually Bow hunting 🤪

Wow, talk about ironic. Miami got bulldozed in their season opener by Chicago, and now look who's the team that sweeps them in the first round.
The funny thing is, is that it's not ironic. That was my whole pt. which certain people keep missing. That 1st game of the season no matter how insignificant some people think it was gave the Bulls that confidence they needed to know that they could beat this team later on in the post season. Like you said it wasn't just a win it was a blowout!

Chicago and Detroit is going to be an exciting series. Big Ben is returning to the Palace!
It's definitely proved to be a post season of story lines.
LOL ^^^^^
Kobe is going to have to go off if he wants the Lakers to win this. He is going to have to tell his guys to just sit back in the backcourt when they are on offense and let him score 1vs5 so they can preserve their energy for defense. 😆 😆 😆
But seriously, he is going to have to score 50+ in each of the next 3 games for them to win. That is if it goes that far.

I don't see how that's not being classy. It's pretty much the truth. When Phoenix is playing up to their level, the Lakers have no shot at beating them. They're just confident.

They're the better team no doubt, but when you lose you give credit to the opponents. Besides, part of the reason why they lost game 3 and did not play to their level was because our intensity outmatched theirs.
To say Marion and Barbosa are the only classy Suns is a bit ridicolous if you ask me, the only Sun that I could agree with that doesn't have any class is Raja Bell. Nash, and Amare respect the Lakers, and espicially Kobe just as much as Marion, and Barbosa, last year Nash gave the Lakers all the credit in the world for taking them the limit, and if Amare was in that series I'm sure he would have done the same.
