Lord Evo and Koolruningz, I just read what seemed to be 15 pages of rising warfare.

I think I speak for everyone else when I say............................Keep It UP! This forum was boring for months. But now, I don't think I've ever read anything more entertaining. C'mon, I didn't know you guys promoted friendly fire, but I like it. Adds more drama. 😆

😆 Where the Lakers go drama follows man, even with the fans.

I'm glad you were able to get a good laugh out this. 😆

I was doing the same thing with your epic battle with B Dot Rob.

Oh yeah, I remember that guy. That argument lasted for literally 20+ pages, including different threads. 😆

But I think it's fair to say that I duked him out of here. I had some help from you guys, obviously. But it shouldn't have been that hard to outwit a guy who claimed Bill Russell was trash.

It seems the KG deal is dead. I truly hope not. If it is, I'm selling my season tickets.

The KG trade as i understand it is Lamar, Bynum, Kwame and the #19 pick for KG and Jaric/Hudson. That is a trade i would do in a heartbeat, KG is a top 5 talent with an intense will to win. If we can pair him with Kobe i think we have a strong base to build on. I would then look to move Cook to the Rockets for Luther Head, the Rockets need a PF that can spread the floor after losing Howard and they have too many guards with the addition of Mike James. Head would be ideal at the PG spot in the triangle, solid defender and money from 3. I'd then take either Posey or Pietrus with the MLE and see if having a Kobe and KG tandem will convince Grant Hill to sign for the vet min.

PG - Jaric/Hudson - Head - Farmar
SG - Kobe - Evans - Sasha
SF - Posey/Pietrus - Walton - Hill
PF - KG - Turiaf - Vlade
C - Mihm - Turiaf

The only real weakness we have is a much weakened front line with little depth, but if Head starts for us a PG that is an elite defensive lineup that can score plenty to. I hope this deal goes through, that line up if healthy can do some damage in the playoffs.

You are right, I know I don;t care but how was he responsible for Malone not coming back? Malone didn't come back because he wanted to win a championship and with Shaq gone he knew that wasn't going to happen. That fool sat on the sideline and watched to see what teams looked like they were championship calibur. He was going to go to Miami, San Antonio or Detroit but he was not coming back to the Lakers. Once again Kobe spoke his mind, he said what we all felt Malone was doing. If you think Kobe is running this team you are wrong, if he was we wouldn't be having this conversation because half the people on the team right now would be gone.

Malone scoped out the teams and then clarified that if he came back, it would be with the Lakers. He was then mullying whether or not to come back and as you said "Kobe spoke his mind". When he did this it pissed off Malone and he said that Kobe was the reason he wasn't coming back. This is one of Malone's direct quotes: "This is a Hollywood soap opera, and I'm not going to be a star in another Bryant soap opera." Sounds to me that it was because of Kobe that Malone didn't come back to me. But as I said, who cares that Malone didn't come back because with Shaq and everybody else gone already, it wouldn't have mattered (I'm not placing blame on Kobe for anybody else leaving though). And I agree Kobe didn't force Shaq out, but he didn't do anything to try to get the Lakers to keep Shaq either.

Now that is a lineup that I wouldn't have kill someone if it were to come true.

Minny said they don't want anything the Lakers have to offer, but they are in talks with multi-team deals that would involve most of those players (I've heard that Minny wants the guys the Celtics offered but wants to include the Lakers to keep KG happy).

From what i heard Myth its not so much the players part of it, its the #19 pick that Minny doesnt like. They want a much higher pick and thats why Boston was involved with the #5. The Celtics have since pulled out and at the moment its just the Lakers and Wolves trying to hash it out. The ironic thing was that the four team trade had Ainge, Bird and McHale basically saving the Lakers by getting KG on the team.

Ha, that is ironic. I can see why the 19th was the reason. I just knew that Minny didn't like the package the Lakers could give straight up so they wanted the Celtics involved. I think the Wolves also really liked Al Jefferson.

Btw, Grant Hill sees the Spurs as a strong possibility for him.

Yep Jefferson is a nice young player (already averaging a double double) but i dont think the Celtics are letting him go.

Who will be drafted 1st. Oden or Durant? Who will the better year, Oden or Durant?

Kobe + KG>>Kobe +JO

Wow, what a roller coaster. Now BSPN news is reporting that KG could be heading to the Suns in a three team trade including Boston. Basically all the Suns have to give up of any worth is Marion and they get KG to pair with Amare, if that happens its goodnight for the rest of the league.

Your kidding me?

KG to the Suns for Marion? Wow, that would be nuts. But how could the Suns afford that?

I don't know if KG would fit into that offense but who knows, with Nash it could be possible. 3 ex Celtics + Mitch Kupchak = no KG for us.

All I know is my Laker days are almost over.

Bandwagoner, LOL.

No shit Dan.

No way will it be just Marion for KG. Days ago the rumor was KG for Marion, Diaw, and Bell but the Wolves said only for Amare, Diaw and Bell.
