Miami vs NJ - Please God let them sweep NJ. You have to love Wade. I have never been a big Shaq fan but have always respected him. I am fine with him helping Wade get a championship. I was not fine with him helping Kobe get a championship (or 3). Miami might be my #2 choice to win it all. I loved the Zo days and they are exciting again. I have to admit though, I have not been a huge Miami fan my whole life and did not stick with them through thick or thin, but even so, I at least admit it and they were never like a team I hardcore cared about or completely abandoned, I just didn't care when they were losing. Anyway, I hate Carter, Kidd isn't the best person himself (wife beater/cry-baby). Plus they knocked off Team Lebron 😠

Detroit vs Phili - AI is a punk. Always has been, always will be. Not to mention, I'm not a big fan of anything that comes from Phili (thugs). Detroit, well, I guess that town has its fair share of thugs too, but I like their team more. Never been a huge Detroit fan though. I again cheered for them over the Lakers and that is about it for any hardcore cheering they have ever received from me. In the East, I would root for them over anybody except for Miami, Chicago, and maybe (I'll explain in a bit) Indiana.

Yeah, i'm a huge Wade fan too. And i hate Carter too, but i had to root for the Nets since there my hometown team. Are you serious about AI? Yeah right dude. AI is MVP(or very very very close secod behind Shaq) if the Sixers had a good record, And as Wuta said, he plays with more heart than anyone. I would take AI over everybody except Lebron and Shaq. Maybe T-Mac too. And thats a poor reason to dislike Philly teams. You can dislike the city, but you shouldn't hate a team just because people who live in that city are thugs.

Kidd aint that bad. But he was a cry baby win he hurt his eye

I like AI to. No matter what you may think of him as a person there is nobody that plays with as much heart in the league and that for me is reason enough to respect him.
The only teams i see in trouble in the playoffs so far are Dallas and the Nets. Dallas because they have dropped 2 at home and the Nets because they are completely out-gunned. The Nets may sneak a game but they are not good enough defensively to shut down all Miami's weapons. Jefferson gives them another scorer but they have to stop Miami first and i dont think they can. T-Mac is taking over the Dallas series and it should only get better at home one would think. The rest of the match ups could go either way. The Pacers-Celtics could go to 7, same with Bulls-Wizards and Sonics-Kings. Im picking the Suns, Spurs, Rockets, Kings, Wizards, Heat, Celtics and Pistons to go through. I know the Kings and Wizards are getting creamed right now but Arco Arena is a hard place to win and i think that by the time the Kings go back to Seattle they will be playing alot better. The Wizards can only play better and they have 3 very good scorers who havent shown up yet. I like the Bulls but i think the Wizards will come back and the Bulls will crumble. Im still going with the Spurs and Pistons for the finals.

TNT should do what they do for NCAA Basketball. Start out with one game, and if the game is a blowout, go to the other game. The Spurs are killing right now, and though it its fun too see them score avery possesion, i would rather see the closer game. Even though the other game isnt that close either. I'm just saying for next time when a team is killing, and the other team is neck and neck.

Just think yourself lucky that you can watch most of the games. The last game they showed over here was Boston vs Indiana game 1. Ive been watching the highlights on SportsCenter and reading game reports on the internet. For some reason ESPN seems to think that the average viewer would like to see the wonderfully entertaining game of billiards or poker instead of the playoffs. Makes me sick.

Suns@Grizzlies are playing against each other. I say the Suns r going 2 win

AI is still the man, noone plays with more heart than AI, noone.....if jermain o;neal is playing well than he at least deserves some credit, but if he's playing like sh*t and gets credit than i can see where your coming from....i just want to say ben gordon is no D-Wade, i no i'm somewhat biased when i say that because i've been a big Wade fan since Marquette but there is also some truth to that

Ok, I'm going to re-emphisize why some of my opinions are the way they are.

AI - Great player, shows tons of heart. I don't like him personally though. The way he carries himself and his history. The bastard parked in handicap spaces and thought that it was ok because he was currently injured and he had the money to pay for the fines, but did he ever once think about 'actual' handicapped people? Don't forget about his whole wife situation. AI is a punk. He is nothing but a thug. I will hand it to him that he is great on the court, but then again so is Kobe, another punk, and I am not going to root for those assholes.

O'Neal - I know he is good too. I understand when he earns his credit. I just don't wish to see him do well. Why? Maybe where you guys are from you didn't see the clips I did, but for the next three years after he was traded, all he did was talk shit about Portland. I have NEVER seen a player do that so much before in my life. Usually, people try to avoid the subject and at least vocally emphisize the future rather than their hatred for a past team from years ago.

Ben Gordon - I know he doesn't play 'like' D-Wade, but he is like Wade in the sense of how he takes over at the end of the game. That is what I meant by saying he is this years D-Wade.

Kidd - I'm not talking about Kidd being a baby for getting poked in the eye. I'm talking about how he dictates NJ. He cried for a trade and still cried for a while after receiving Carter. Don't forget

Hating a team for hating a city - Sorry, team goes along with the city. I hate NY fans in NY, that is why I hate the Knicks (even more now that they have Marbury). Same goes with cities where 50% of the fans are thugs.

heyooo....you didnt have to rephrase them....i got the point the 1st time...i agree with you about kidd, kobe, and shaq...thats why i didn't comment on them, i never said you couldn't hate a city or team...i know i hate my share as well....all i did was defend the players i like, you can knock them all you want, but thats not gonna stop me from defending them

The city thing was to DanZeke and I know you were just defending. I quoted you because that was the most buried post that I was referring to and had more that I was talking about while the rest was just from other posts here and there that I was replying to. I was just re-emphisizing my reasons so the only thing that really needed cleared up was why I compared Gordon to Wade.

Yeah ur right about AI. I like AI the Player, not AI the person. As for Kobe, i never really liked him. And even at his best, i would take about 10 people before I took him.

And i guess i would probaly hate Philadelphia too if it wasnt the closest too me.Just like NY.

^ Yeah. There really is nothing wrong with liking your home town team. Its good to be able to root for somebody everytime you watch a game live. Heck, with all the troubles the Blazers have had, I'd probably hate them if they weren't my home team. Therefore, I just hope management can fix the problems.

GOD, I LOVE MY SPURS!!!

I actually like Marbury a lot. Why don't you?

He thinks he is God but is not even close to being one of the best players in the league. I believe it was at the beginning of this year when he declared himself the best PG in the league. That is a laugh.

That Heat/Nets game was a heart pounder. I can't believe Carter's OT basket at the buzzer. Why was nobody guarding him? Was there a huge screen that I missed?

Also, Bobby Simmons was named MIP today.

yeah.. it was crazy... Carters shot was amazing... I hope there are more games like this

Seriously, as long as the team I'm rooting for pulls it off.

damn, no sweep for the pistons

Here's the thing about the Sixers, they will play great one day, then the next day lose by 20, The one time, they played realy good, and beat the Heat in OT, the next day they lose to the Nest by 25. If only they can play consistantly. Anyway, hopefully they can keep the momentum and maybe win the next game. GO SIXERS.

Thats how my Blazers use to be. It was frustrating. Now I just wish that would come back because this whole being able to predict games thing sucks. Prediction: Blazers lose. See, it was pretty accurate all season.

alot of blow outs last night....all the teams i want to win lost except for one (spurs)
