Btw, GREAT GREAT news in Blazer land. No more Miles! And we should get cap relief too!

Never lived up to his potential

Good luck next year with Oden. If he can gel with Roy, gonna be a good team

I don't doubt one bit that they will gel.

Who you guys looking to get in the draft? I would go PG, specifically one who could defend as well as shoot. You're lottery team, so Mayo and Rose are not out of the question, especially if you get some of that luck you got in last years draft.

raps versus orlando in the first round by the looks of it.... we've played pretty well against these and bosh seems to outplay dwight most of the time... this could be a good matchup for us!

atlanta in the playoffs? who woulda thunk it?

The Rockets disappointed me more this game in Utah than any other game this year. No defense at all. McGrady let Ronnie Brewer (who?) slip by him several times for easy dunks.

Rebounding was horrible. There was one sequence where the Jazz missed 4 shots but they rebounded the ball all 4 times. One the fifth shot, a Jazz player was fouled. He missed the second shot, and the Jazz rebounded that, too. Embarrassing.

They really missed the big man that game.

Anyone hear Chris Paul on Colin Cowherd's ESPN radio show? CP3 was also on Jim Rome's show; sounds like he's making his case for MVP of the league for this year, though he did acknowledge Garnett as another great candidate.

Sounds like Chris Mortensen is coming on the show now though for all you football fans.

I missed Paul this morning

The Rockets are really missing Yao

57-25...Go Lakers

Congratulations, guy. The Lakers ended up with top seed in the West. It's gonna be very hard to deny Kobe the MVP award now.

Thanks buddy

Good luck to ur Rockets in post season

Kobe is an amazing talent. He's finally embraced the team concept; and its so much fun playing with an All-Star center

Kobe should finally get it.

Wow, number one in the West it doesnt seem real when you think about how the season started off after the offseason dramas.
To say that im proud of my guys is an understatement and while they still have a tough road to travel in the playoffs, they showed me alot of mental toughness this season and that can only bode well for the future with our relatively young core.
This Laker team is my favorite team since the "Showtime" days, they have a chemistry and camaraderie that reminds me of the Magic led teams from the 80's and that is such an important component that is often overlooked.
I'd still like to see our defense pick up a few more notches (especially with Bynum's return being so up in the air), if we are gonna have a deep run then our defense (especially perimeter) needs to be better.
Shout out to all my fellow Laker fans on KMC, especially Evo (our war of words during the offseason seems like a lifetime ago bro, we both wanted the same result but just had different methods).

GO LAKERS!! 😮‍💨

Go Lakers

i would vote for kobe this year for mvp... and heres why.

i've always respected him, never been a huge fan but never hated him either. he does exciting stuff and is pretty sick... but something impressed me this year and has garnered him more respect and love from me.

he's finally learned to trust his team-mates. yes you could argue that they're better now... but lamar has been awe inspiring lately, gasol is playing well again, and kobe is playing as amazing as ever and sharing the ball. and number one record in the west. chris paul will have plenty more time to win an mvp.

mvp kobe bryant.

the playoffs are here. in the east, from boston to atlanta theres 29 games in it. in the west? 7.

yup...

SEVEN. every team for me in the west could go through to the next round. denver could beat la, dallas and new orleans is gonna be good. pheonix and san antonio, wow, and then theres houston and utah. what a first round!!!!

I agree. The first round in the West is going to be awesome. This is the first year I've seen where I honestly believe any team can knock the other out of the playoffs regardless of their standing. There will be no "gimme" series. What an exciting playoffs this will be!

I'll be watching the playoffs. The Lakers will win and get to the next round. Hopefully Shaq and Duncan will kill each other. Not impressed with Dallas but they should beat the Hornets. In the east, not rreally interested in any of the teams. Cleveland may get to the second round. Not impressed with Boston. Detroit may advance. But still I will be watching.

They will be fun. Lakers over Denver

I completely missed that this was geared towards me. I would definitely go PG, but there is a very good chance that we'll trade. Either trade up, or get a more proven PG. I'm almost leaning towards the 2nd of the two happening by pairing the pick with current Blazers. Our GM even came out and said we are not looking to go younger and hinted towards a trade.
