You weren't watching close enough buddy because all the shots he took in the 4th were the same. And it is what he's been doing the whole season. And I recall one play that was an iso, and that is when he took his man to the basket and missed the layup. And you totally missed the point. Going back to Kobe's first seasons? Come on now. He's been perimeter based since 2002. So is it safe to say that you don't like the way he's played since then? Only the people who don't like Kobe are going to ***** about his play in a game that we won. Just because Denver made you piss your pants when they cut the lead to 9 doesn't mean you have to break down one of our players because you don't like the way they played. Like I said before, I never see you complaining when the shots are falling. I didn't see you on here after the 81 point game complaining that his shots were not within the offense and that he's a ball hog. I didn't see you here when he scored 50+ against the Grizzlies on over 50% shooting when no one else on the team could hit a shot to save their lives. I didn't see you complaining when scored 52 against the Mavs to will us to a win, even though every possession late in the 4th and OT were iso's where everyone else got the hell out of his way. There are dozens of more like this. Where the hell was Kool at? Oh that is right, waiting in his cave to come out and bash Kobe when he actually has a bad game. What else am I supposed to think when all you do is talk negatively about him? How about instead of trashing his play in one quarter and apparently only a few minutes of play, you give our team their due for pulling this one out. It's amazing that in a win, in a game where Gasol scored 36 and Kobe scored 32 that you find space to criticize the best player in the game because he didn't do what you wanted him to do for a few minutes. Phil thought his play was fine, everyone else on the team I'm sure had no complaints, everyone was great, but your on here complaining, breaking down Kobe possession by possession and it has become tiresome. You don't do it for any other player but him and it has become pretty obvious why.
I wasnt thrilled with the way Kobe played, he seemed to kill the momentum that we had built in the 3rd when he came out firing to start the 4th.

Good run Houston. 0-2, close games, but your season is over.Better luck next year. You and Dallas are making SA look bad.
Yeah, this series has been terrible for Houston. I guess there's only so much they can do without their starting center and point guard. Utah just outmuscled them in the paint. That's the result of not having Yao there. We need to draft a backup center. I like Mutombo, but he just doesn't have it anymore.
That was a pretty tough call to make against Scola for that tying 3 pointer late in the game, with all thats at stake i hate to see a game decided by the theatrics that AK47 put on.
I think it will be too big a challenge for the Rockets to come back from this, the crowd in Utah will be even more hyped than usual and the Rockets look deflated (and who can blame them)?
I'd like to see the Wizards win one at home to make the series more interesting, but it sure is funny watching Stevenson not being able to back up his trash talking.

That's exactly what I was thinking about that call. That was a very touchy call to make and shouldn't have been made with that much on the line. Oh well. The Rockets shot themselves in the foot, though. If they would make at least 75% of their throws, they would have won both games.
Well I was wrong but I'm absolutely glad I wasn't right. Suns keep looking like they're going to run away with these games and yet the old Spurs keep battling back and winning them. I don't know if they can keep it up in this series, but I like their chances now. I hope they pull it out because I feel we match up against them better. I don't know if they'll be able to get back in the game if they get down on the road, but all they need to do is steal one in Phoenix and they're sitting pretty when they return home.
I was rooting for the Spurs to win this series from day one because I like our chances against them if we meet in the WCF. I just didn't think they could get it done after watching the two regular season games when they played the Shaq Suns and the first game of the series where it took a godly performance from Duncan, two game tying 3 pointers and a game winner from Ginobli to beat them.
I don't know what the hell Pop said to them at halftime but they sure as hell came out in the 3rd quarter and murdered them. If I remember correctly they only scored 12 in the quarter after having 61 at halftime, and it took them like 7 mins to get their first points. If the Spurs can bring that same intesity in Phoenix, then I like their chances. But in no way is this series over. I remember a few years ago they were up 2-0 to a team that I can't remember, and ended up losing the series in 6 games after some dude hit a shot with .4 seconds left on the clock in game 5.

Remember when the Mavs and Suns quickly tried to react to the Gasol trade by making the Kidd and Shaq trades? LOL, they were better BEFORE the trades and now are paying the price for their haste.
The Suns are about the same if you ask me, but I definitely agree with you on the Mavs.
Good lord the word "rape" and "Denver" just seems to follow Kobe around doesnt it?
Great performance, the complete arsenal was on display tonight. Which is fortunate because Odom had a nightmare and Gasol took a while to get going.
Denver just falls apart mentally when the going gets tough, so many frustration fouls and technicals. They just cant keep their composure.
Im not sure what Denver can do defensively now, Lamar and Pau carved them up in game one so they adjusted and Kobe murdered them tonight. I think we just have too many weapons if we can maintain some kind of defensive pressure and keep the ball moving.
