Just would've like to seen Kobe as the decoy and Fish and Lamar carry the Lakers in OT

They will be ok

Thats what got us back in the game and forced OT, i dont know why we went away from that.
Kobe's greatest strength is also his Achilles heel, he is so confident in his abilities that he believes that he can overcome any situation (and to be fair he normally does).
No need to panic though, we still have home court and you know Kobe is getting round the clock treatment to make sure he is as close to 100% as possible for game 5.

Agreed friend

Not surprisingly the Cavs won. Ya know if the Cavs somehow take game five than Boston crys homeo

It was Odom, then they got the rebound, kick to Kobe, and he runs to the 3 point line and chucks it. They both shot 3-pointers while only down 2.

Damn, so I was right the first time. Kobe should have known better than that.

You know Kobe is always going for the dagger. He's shot selection leaves me confused sometimes but im glad to have a player that isnt afraid of the moment on my team.

Good news Laker fans, Ariza has been cleared to play. He's bound to be rusty but could be very useful guarding Williams in the 4th.

Great news

Kobe wants Jordan, Luke and Rad to play

Lakers need their production

Thank god, we need Ariza but they are saying it wont be until 2 weeks.

He'll return. Have to win and advance

Have a player like Trevor in Ira. Its a shame Jackson stays with a 8 man rotation

I'd like to see what Ira can do defensively, the way Williams was abusing Farmar i cant see the harm in putting Newble on him and use his size to slow Williams down. On offense you can easily let Kobe, Lamar or Luke initiate the triangle. Farmar is giving us nothing at the moment and maybe Phil needs to think outside the square.

Fish and Sasha can guard Deron. I heard Phil was going to do that this game when it should have been done the prior 4. Sasha can harass Williams enough to throw his game off, I don't think bringing Newble off the bench is the answer.

Jazz lost (bawwwww)

Go Lakers. Good team effort. All five in double figures

Good win for the Lakers. I'm not too sure about the officiating in that game, though. It seemed like they were calling some pretty ridiculous calls. One in particular that I remember was towards about halfway through the 4th when Odom streaked through the defense for a dunk. I think it was Okur who was called for the foul, and all he did was barely graze Odom's back with his hand as Odom went flying by. Even the replay showed no one else touched him. Very strange.

Weak call but it has been consistent throughout the series for both teams.

No strange then Utah putting D Fish in foul trouble twice at the 9 minute mark of the first quarter

Good team effort. I believe the Lakers have only lost once or twice when the starters are in double figures

Keeping my fingers crossed Trevor can play a few minutes tomorrow. Nothing new on Andrew

Loved the energy we played with last night, Kobe played a very smart game and stayed within his limitations. The fact that he didnt attempt a shot in the 4th and we still won a close game speaks volumes for the type of confidence our team has this year. I hope we can maintain that on the road because that mentality is key in a very hostile environment. Lamar has been unstoppable this series, i love the way he just keeps attacking and cutting off the ball. When you have his speed and size there is no reason to be standing still out on the perimeter like he used to. It also helps when you have a center like Gasol that can thread the needle and get you the ball in the right spots, if we still had Kwame our offense would be looking very stagnant right now.
Our ball movement is so much better at home, we have to keep that identity on the road as well. Ball movement and player movement is the way to beat the solid defensive teams, when we do that with the passers we have we can get any shot we want. Game 6 is gonna be tough but these are the challenges that championship teams need to respond to. I'd love to see us close this one out on the road in front of those hecklers in Utah.

I can see the Cavs forcing a game 7, the Celtics have been awful on the road and LeBron seems to be getting to his spots a bit easier now. He could easily win the next two games for the Cavs and send the Celtics home, his teammates have to give the Celtics a reason to guard them though.

agreed

kobe trusts his team

cleveland should win, but losing gibson will hurt

spurs stomped em. i feel bad for them on monday, expect manu, duncan or parker in foul trouble

bawwwwww

At least they made it a game there at the end. haermm

Another team effort

Kobe, Pau, Lamar, D Fish and Rad all in double figures

Sasha great game

Bring on Chris Paul
