If we don't trade him for Artest before the season starts, I think we should wait and see how it pans out, if it doesn't, we're going to be sitting pretty at the all star break with his huge expiring contract. We might get another steal like we did with Kwame. But like Mitch said, Sasha is the biggest priority, we need him back.

The question is would they rather have an aggressive player, good outside shooter, and lock down defender in Artest or a stand offish, good passer, that can't hit an outside shot. Lamar doesn't come with the controversy Artest has, but he's not playing with his full potential. If he was only a little more aggressive, than he would be a star.

Love to see Lamar play like an All-Star all the time

Childress went because I believe he's making 11 million a year, and Sasha was about to go because the Lakers weren't going to pay him 5 million while many Europeans clubs were offering.

Dude, not just 20 million.

20 million Euros. Thats 31 million dollars US.

So about 10 million USD a year. A chunk of change for him.
