Moreover, the Lakers lost Bynum. A great role player. And while the Knicks aren't stellar, Kobe, the star of the team, had a record breaking night in their victory. Is Bynum comparable to Nelson? Nah, but every player has his place and is important in their role, and when they can't play someone else takes the reigns.

When shit happens, you either step up or lay down. We'll see what Orlando does in Nelson's absence. They got the ability all they need is the drive, that's all I'm saying.

I wish u guys well. U know that

I'm just saying a big success for the wonderous record is the play of Nelson. He's an All Star. Dwight is a many time All Star. Hedo and Lewis are fabulous shooters

Just caught Mark Stein's assessment on ESPN

Losing Nelson is a big blow. U guys have talent. If Courtney can score and dish out assists, it can work. The big man is still in the middle

My Lakers. Losing Andrew hurts. Kobe is incredible and will elevate his game again. Lamar Odom is the key. All the Lakers fans know he has talent. Has to be consistent the rest of the way til Andrew comes back. If Josh Powell and Chris Mhmm can get some points and rebound will help also

I know you wish Orlando the best.

This is just one of those rare moments where I try to be optimistic because, realistically anything could happen from Nelsons lost and we've yet to see how the Magic face the loss. They need to play a few games before I can make a better assessment. I see Orlando's strengths and weaknesses. If they work together and bring some intensity, they'll be fine. If not they'll struggle.

Anyways, how amazing was Kobe?

He is incredible

Lakers win 🙂

Kobe 36, 9 and 5. Pau 31 and 15 boards

Will the Magic go after Marbury?

Solid win for the Lakers but we need to step it up on defense. We are reverting back to last season and trying to outscore everyone. That will work against the mid level teams but we are going up against the Celtics and Cavs next so our D needs to improve. We really miss Drew's presence in the paint, he was beginning to anchor our defense like we all hoped he would. With him out we need to sharpen up our rotations and help the helper, also contesting some shots wouldnt hurt.

Props to LeBron for an amazing performance, not many times you get to see a 50pt triple double. Just scary to think how good this kid will be in his prime.

Lakers vs Celtics. Don't leave the shooters open. Play solid defense and no turnovers. Josh and Chris should get solid minutes

The Lippers are hopeless

I haven't heard anything official. Right now it's just speculation.

Anthony had a outstanding game with a season best of 25 points, so it makes it difficult case on who will be their starting point guard, especially with just one game to go off of.

Wow, 2 amazing performances in MSG in 48 hours. Props to both Kobe and LeBron.

Damn only afew points short LBJ. You could tell he was gunnning for Kobe's record too. He didn't make it but damn what a performance non the less.

I wonder who is next to try to get 50+

Paul Pierce plays in NY tomorrow. 🙂

Amarie maybe traded. Been unhappy with his role

Amare needs to get a grip. Shaq didn't take away from his scorign last season when he got there heck his corign went through the roof. That team needs to shake the sad puppy dog look cause Dantoni is gone. It gets no sympathy from me. Taht team is way better than that shitty record they post.

Every season Amare finds something to complain about. I like him less and less each year.

Amare needs to play some defense instead of just worrying about who's scoring. Thats what Porter has tried to bring to the team, a defensive mentality. The Dantoni Suns were always fun to watch but they would always fold when they went against teams that would slow the pace down and limit their transition hoops. If it came down to those Suns teams having to rely on defense then it was game over. Nash is the same as Amare to, always moaning about how great the offense ran with Dantoni. A team that has Nash, Richardson, Hill, Amare and Shaq and is committed to defense could go far but they havent bought into it and thats why they are looking so bad.

J Rich is a good offense player, but defense isn't his forte

I wish em well

30 minutes til the game
