The Grizz have had the good fortune of having Jerry West and Hubie Brown involved with their franchise, i dont think the Raptors have been that lucky in that department.

nah we havent... we've had a couple of good picks but they've been sent away with little in return.

I dont agree with that. Just recently they have been doing good, but when they were in Vancouver, they were bloody awful.
You forgetting that they had to move from the original city, so thats never a good thing.
Also, thier draft picks are in the same league as Toronto. They had the Bryant Reeves fiasco, Bibby turned out good but left at first site, Stromile Swift didnt do well for what he went for and Antonie Daniels left early also. And last but not least, Steve Francis, who didnt want to come even near Canada. Shariff Abdur Raheem and Pau Gasol are the only good picks that worked out. In the end, it was horrible runned team. The fact of the team moving is the evidence of this.
In terms of picks, they both equal out. I think the question is, why is both Canadian teams have the same problems with draft picks and free agents?

Blame Canada. ✅

or blame the americans for not wanting to go there😉

no its definately something about the players not wanting to stay in another country. i've heard toronto is a stunning city, and am considering moving there when i'm older and more well off. unless the raptors have moved of course.

Move to Ottawa instead of Toronto.

Toronto is a good choice if you want to live in Canada, but Ottawa or Vancouver are much better cities.

I believe players get payed less if they go to Canada because the income taxes are higher. Just something I've heard.

Here's a quote that had me laughing from Bill Simmon's ESPN Page 2 article:

"Lamar Odom had a 'Maybe I should just fail another drug test so I don't have to play with Kobe anymore' look on his face from January on"

I like Micheal Jordan. He's the best. Also, Allan Houston. I'm a big knicks fan. (Since M.J retired.)

Smasandian, if i moved to canada, it would be so i could watch the raptors😄 so unless they move city its toronto😄

That was random. Well, I have news for you about Houston though. Knicks are going to cut him! LOL! He really should have been cut a few years ago. Talk about over paid and worthless.

LOL! Andrew Bynum Never thought I see an NBA player do this.

^^^ hystericalhystericalhystericalhysterical 😆 😂

Well, with the nice invention of digital cable and the super sports pack, you can be anywhere in Canada and still watch the game.

Im not sure if they do get taxed, but really, if it costs a couple of thousand more, does it really matter?

yeah but i'd have a season ticket. i'd wanna see them there in front of me:d

Oh i understand. Hopefully you have the money for it.

well like i said... not for a while😄

Look! Its... The Flash!! 😄

Made it myself 😄 😄
The picture is actully bigger than that.. but its not showing it in its real size.

Looks good.

So are you saying the Raptors have had a GM of West's calibre or a coach like Hubie Brown? Im sure all the reasons you listed are part of the problem to, your the Raptors expert not me. But the Grizz really turned the corner when Hubie came on board. Nobody can argue with Jerry West being one of the best GM's either, I just think the Grizz have been more fortunate in that department and that coupled with the reasons you gave has dug the Raptors into a hole that they can hopefully climb out of. It was always gonna be hard being a Canadian team in an American league.
