Shaq is not in great shape. In the first 5-10 minutes of the game he was huffing air and was drenched in sweat. Everybody else was perfectly normal.

I've also noticed that whenever Shaq was in the game, the Raptors started to score again. It was only when the Cavs went small without Z or Shaq in the game on where they started to play defense and started to score points.

Any team with an athletic front court will be able to do wonders with the Shaq in the lineup. Bargnani, and Bosh, both players can shoot the jumper from outside the key was having a field day. Shaq wouldn't go out and contest the jump shot. Luckily, Bosh wasn't hitting it but if he was, the game wouldn't even be close. Also, he wouldn't held his team mates on the defensive end. I don't know how many times I would see Bosh, or Bargnani or even Rasho Nesterovic get a free pass to basket.

Everyone was producing. 63% from the field before the third, making 100 points.

Six players were in double digits.

Stroking it from three with Dwight having his first double-double to start the season (21 pts, 15 rbs) and his first tech. *sigh*

Bench was producing big (I love you Ryan Anderson). Kept the momentum going. J-Will put some faith in me at the back-up.

Incredible flow on offense. Decent D. Needs some work as far as hustle and intensity. First game though. Defense should improve as it progresses.

Great win, very happy right now.

Sorry Dan. Hey, your Phillie's are in the Series.

No need to be sorry. I didn't watch, and don't expect them to be too good this year anyway. When we're expected to win and then lose you can be sorry for me.

Chicago beats the Spurs

RJ looks lost. It will take him some time

Denver vs Portland now

Great game

Oden missed two clutch FT's

Denver wins

It was close throughout. Exciting to watch.

Ty Lawson continues to impress while Carmelo looks like he's out to make a statement this year. A great start for Denver.

And the Bulls are scrappy, man. Looks like they'll be giving opponents a run for their money this season.

If they beat Boston tonite, I'll give em some props

Have to guard Wallace

KG has something to prove

Lakers vs Dallas

No Gasol

They're tough. I respect their fighting desire.

So disappointing. Oden wasn't even close. His nerves got the better of him.

He'll learn as he goes

Magic by 6 at the 1/2

Lakers on soon

Vince injured

Surprise, surprise.

A sloppy game from my understanding (was at work).

I dunno how much of that had to do with the relations of both teams (Vince, Lee, Anderson, Alston and Battie).

Dwight had a double-double in the first quarter.

Vince has a minor sprain. Should be fine and back soon. I rather him get an injury now than later.

Need Vince to play the next in the next drama in Toronto. 😄

He's been healthy for 3 plus years.

And you'll have the Turkaflu hit you guys. If it hasn't already. Trust me.

In other news...

Boston destroyed the Bulls. So much for being scrappy.

True, he hasn't been injured lately.

Lakers lose 🙁

Phil has got to realize that Sasha shouldn't even be in the rotation, let alone Kobe's backup. He sucks, plain and simple. He overfouls on defense and if he's not hitting his shot he has no purpose whatsoever of being in.

Same goes for Fisher. Fish should be coming off the bench with either Brown starting. Brown a much better defensive player, hustles, more athletic, bigger, and no worse a shooter than Fish is at the moment.

When our shots aren't falling we must drive and penetrate. We had a laughable amount of free-throws last night. Overall, I think we just had a terrible shooting night. Everyone played like crap on this team with the exception of Brown, Kobe incluided.

When does Gasol return? Celtics and Orlando look very sharp(sorry Vince). I expect Cavs to come out better as the season progresses.

LMAO, This was awesome!

Good points

Lakers should make the adjustments tonite

Have to run the triangle and get Artest involved early

I'd give Sasha a few more looks and go to Morrison. Farmar, love his hands, but he still can't move his feet. Barea went around him easily. He has to get better

Gasol, no timetable. Need the big man back

The Magic blew a big lead but still maintained and kept their streak alive.

The Magic had 3 starters out for this one. VC with a sprain, Peaches with flu like symptoms and Lewis with a suspension.

5 guys made double figures, 4 of which made at least 20 pts.

Howard had another double-double, 24 pts and 11 rebounds. Barnes had 12 pts, 9 rebounds and 6 steals. JJ had a career best of 27. Neo (Anderson) had 20 and Nelson had 30.

The Magic's defense was sub-par and the Raptors were shooting a high-percentage, making it a close one in the second half.

Bosh had 35, Bargnani had 26 and former Magic, Turkoglu, had a quiet 19.

Dwight gave us Magic fans a scare when he took a hard bump and injured his shoulder. Nothing a little icy-hot couldn't fix though.

Dwight also managed to hit 14 of his 16 FT's. You know, to make up for all the other times he didn't.

The only thing I really didn't like was the lack of D. Even though they limited their turnovers to 9 and made some steals and blocked some shots, they need to tighten up. Their offense is probably the best in the league right now and even though they're no Warriors, they still need to step up on D to stay at the top.

In contrast, it was comforting to see the Magic get a hard fought win over a tough Raptors squad, esp. without 3 of their starters. The depth of this team is just nasty.

Also, Bosh got a tech, so did Matt Barnes.

Lakers win 118-110

Led by Kobe's 41 points, Lamar and Andrew were awesome. I liked how the Lakers stepped up the defense in the 3rd and got the lead by having Ron Ron on the block and running the o thru him. Great team defense

2 game trip

Melo and Mayo had great games

Allen Iverson is close to return
