Ridiculously late, but the Blazers are now my 2nd favorite team since they drafted Dante Cunningham. I don't know how he'll do in the NBA, but the man was a BEAST last year for Villanova. Tremendous work ethic and is always working on his game. In the 4 years at Villanova he improved is PPG and RPG each year. Just kept getting better and better, and his mid-range jumper was flawless last year. His post game is pretty good too IMO.

What's was he on?
Steroids.
He was taking nutritional supplements at the end of last season that, unknowing to him, contained a substance commonly known as DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone), a chemical compound made naturally in the body but also found in numerous over-the-counter supplements at nutritional stores. The substance is banned by most sports leagues, including the NBA.
Lewis' agent said, "We're just getting word of some things, so at this point I don't want to make a comment on it."
"It's our understanding it was a vitamin supplement."
And it seems like it was an honest mistake. There are over a 100 banned substances in the NBA, so players need to really watch out for what they take. From medications to vitamins.

I hope things work out for Cunningham, but I'm not convinced he will get anything close to resembling decent playing time on the Blazers.
Me either, but he'll get plenty of it in NBA 2k10 when I use the Blazers. 😆
I hope he gets time though, I think he can be a very solid player, and is doing pretty well in the summer league so far. Don't be fooled by his size, as he played in the Big East against Hibbert, Thabeet, Blair, and others on a regular basis, and defended them pretty damn well.
I wasn't exactly happy about them changing the rims this year (double rims), but this is just bad.
