I have to say I think Johnny and HBC had some great on screen chemistry in Sweeney Todd. I'd like to see them work opposite each other again some time. I usually don't think the women put up against Johnny Depp stack up a lot of times or match up with him well chemistry wise but I honestly have no complaints about her. She was fab.

Im a harry potter fan, and i hated the character (bellatrix lestrange. the one in the book).

But HBC TOTALLY brought her to life in the film and I found myself amazed by how much she can turn something bad into something magical! 😄

T. Maria I have been a Sweeney fan for a bit. I saw the stage play before it came out and I have seen 2 versions of Mrs. Lovett and I NEVER like the character. Never. I was going to the movie expecting to dislike her at well but I LOVED her and it's really all because of Helena. I was expecting to dislike Lovett as well as Helena because I thought her singing sounded weak in recordings I heard on youtube but when I got in the theater she blew me away all the way around. She was magnificent

Shes a truly amazing actress! ... Shes not too well known (in the sense that she doesnt get the recognition that she deserves) but in my opinion its the actors that keep the lower profile that are usually the most brilliantly intellectual and awe-inspiring people in the business 🙂

Since Sweeney she has a new fan in me. She is amazing. And she seems so sweet and down to earth too as well as cool. I think I love the whole Tim Burton posse, lol. I have been a fan of Tim's for many years and I think he just attracts and keeps around some great people.
