Hmmm based upon skill, reputation and the like I would be leaning towards Spetsnaz or the British SAS .

Uh, well... SAS is all cool and all... But I have to go for my boys the SEALs. SAS pwns, but I still think the SEALs are better 😕

SAS - Trained to be great at both those things AND infiltration, close combat, search and destroy, most aspects of what you could hope for. They specialise across the board, not just in a couple things.

In terms of the defination of Elite: Rangers are more elite that Special Forces, as there are only 1500 Rangers in the Regiment.
Its pretty common that SEALS drop out of Ranger school.
Rangers train with the SaS and Germany GsG9 etc.
Yes, I stand by my initial statement, Rangers should have been a poll option, as they are among the most elite troops of any country in the world.

But dont feel too terribly bad, there are many ignorant people out there.
