You are correct, I was wrong to clump all Christians under the same umbrella. For that I apologize. However, the idea of a thoughtful and enlightened Christian is new to me.

On the second part; we agree more then we disagree. I think your idea of god is beyond the superficial aspect that I was talking about. I know this because we have talked on pm’s many times, and you have told me that the Mormons teach self responsibility, and that is my biggest beef with Fundamentalist Christians.

No, it did not offend, I just had to post it because I did not want others drawing the conclusion from your post. I knew what you were speaking of, and the type of Christian you were referencing, and agree with you on it.

Yes, we do agree on a great many concepts and beliefs. So far I find more in common with your beliefs about the aspects of religion that I believe are of greatest importance than the majority of people on this forum.
