It's possible that you have a form or OCD. I know someone who compulsively keeps spelling things right. And if it doesn't look right, even if it is, he'll get really frustrated.

I do have OCD tendencies about some things, but I think with this, it's more a case of having learned to read and write while very young and having taken advanced classes my entire life. That, and I like to write.
