USH'S GAME EPISODE III- 'ARTIFACT'. Dark Side area

"Probably that jack-ass who kept me from finishing off that Jedi on Damagran. Am I correct?" Gald asks. "When I get that guy cornered...POW! I'll rip off that mechanical arm his!"

"Yes, Balek..." says Kuylen. "And he won't ever give up, either. I thought you would be happy to know that." He looks you in the face. "What do YOU think we should do, Galder?"

"Well, I certainly don't want to face Balek alone again. He whooped my ass! If we run into him, we should stick together."

"And we certainly don't want him, the Republic, or the Jedi to know we're here on Malastare."

"Well, Balek is not ON Malastare, of course!" says Kuylen. "Don't worry about him, I meant what did you think we should do about getting to the Mausoleum."

"We can't threaten Ascar, as you said. Maybe we could pay him, or steal the Astrolabe," says Galder.

"Stealing would be good, if it were possible. We can't get enough money to even start to interest him. Threatening has to be our last resort... I am more interested in blackmail..."

"Blackmail, huh? What did you have in mind? Dirty holopics? Altered messages?" asks Galder.

"i guess threatening him would be not keeping our low profile. I'm having sabers at throught in my mind about threatening. Do we hold any info against him?.....that could imply him loosing some of his...credit....
Or ofcourse try to steal it. "

"A man like Ascar doesn't get where he is without having a few skeletons in his cupboard," says pilot guy. "The very fact he makes money out of gambling is dodgy. Malastare is a big gaming world- pod races and all- but it is strictly regulated. There are severe limits on how much one person can bet. But Ascar sends a lot of business out to Hutt space; from half the Galaxy away they make bets on what goes on here, and Ascar profits from that.

"But as far as I know, it's all fireproof. I'm not even sure if he is technically doing anything illegal. Certainly no-one has ever gotten anything on him."

"Oh, he's doing something illegal," says Kuylen. "He's a careful man, but maybe some of the people working for him aren't. People like Persis."

"I think I see where your taking this...Persis might have done some things that Ascar ordered him to, like taking out an enemy business leader or somethin, and maybe left a little too much evidence?" asks Galder.

"Persis is more than a thug, you see," said Kuylen. "All those armed guards in Ascar's place... they are most likely Persis' men, not Ascar's, who is just a businessman, after all. We don't even need something that Ascar has ordered Persis to do; Persis might do a fair bit in his own right that would embarrass Ascar if it was blown open."

"I see..." says Galder. "Could we find something like that?"

"We've hardly had the time," says pilot guy. "Look, either we make an attempt to grab the thing or we get out of here. There is NO point us just hanging around!" Kuylen is silent for a moment.

"We stay," he says. Pilot guy rolls his eyes. Kuylen turns to Galder and Takuan.

"I have an address I want you to watch; you might find some useful information there. You'll need to stay quiet; can you do that?"

Galder begins to Force choke the Pilot guy. "Don't roll your eyes at Kuylen. I should kill you for ditching us in there," he says.

"What address is it?" asks Rura.

Galder, when you try and choke pilot guy, he waves his hand in your direction and breaks your hold, and draws a sabre concealed in his jacket.

WHUM-CLASH! The sabre impacts against Kuylen's, who has drawn with incredible speed and forces pilot guy's sabre down. Pilot guy looks at Kuylen, who shakes his head. Pilot guy turns his sabre off.

"You raise the Force against a person, that's serious stuff, boy," says pilot guy to you, Galder. "Next time I might not want to hold back."

"Enough!" says Kuylen. He gives you the address; it is downtown.

(BTW, no, you had no idea pilot guy could do that)

"Holy Hoth! What the hell was that?" asks Galder, surprised beyond reason.

Well, he has certainly kept the fact he can use the Force pretty quiet...

(Could you give me a quick reminder of the Dark-siders Saber Colors, including pilot guy?)

"I could kill you quicker than you can do the Kessel Run," says Galder to the pilot guy. "Anyway, how are we gonna get downtown? Call a taxi?"

Pilot guy was red; Chion's is blue, Krisha had yellow, Kuylen's is purple.

Get down there any way you like! Taxis will do fine.

"Well, we'd better get going Kuylen. Anything we need to know before we get there?" asks Galder.
