Does Sabs even have adamantium now? Last time I remember it was taken away when he was trying to become a horseman, but then he got it back due to Weapon X. Unless he lost it some time after that shouldn't he have it now? And if he does have it how could Logan have cut his hand off? Unless of course this is proof that adamantium is bonded to bones and not joints.

This is all possible because the country is filled with Tony stark level scientist.

Wolverine couldn't cut ANYTHING at that angle in the first place. He hit with the blunt side of the claws, for God's sake.
And look at the severed hand. It doesn't look like Logan used all three claws. It looks like he used only one of them.
Sabretooth's bracelet was left intact. It means that Logan didn't aim for a joint.
Loeb must've forgotten about the fact that Sabretooth was re-adamantiumized, that's simple.
