the sabertooth hand cut was bull because of the obvious adamantium bonding.. even if they only laced his bones and not ligaments.. then it is different from logans bonding process because hulk and many other bricks have in the past tried to tear him apart and failed,..
even if sabe lost his adamantium he should have showed signs of withdrawal since he became addicted to the metal.. when apocalypse removed it the first time and gambit helped him get adamantium from the constrictor and made a deal with sinister to help creed get some reintroduced to keep him alive... he later got the full procedure
from weapon X project.. so either they ignored the entire history or the guy who wrote it knew nothing about sabe from the gambit series or weapon x comic.

of course both universes are different,, even the adamantium discription is different in the ultimate universe...
its near and almost indestructible in the ultimate universe it also tries to be closer to reality by lacing his bones instead of bonding them on a molecular lvl..
the 616 universe are different types and grades of adamantium.. wolverine has 1st grade adamantium and his bones arent laced they are molecularly bonded,,

Irm, i'm not sure anymore. At first I just figured Sabes got changed during HOM like a lot of mutants. But now....
Well, in Exiles, AOA Sabretooth just got Adamantium and there's been no explanation for it. So IMO there's somethin shady goin down there.
