Um, Will sometimes over-reacts to things.

Because he's a pansy.

I think he's more rash than a pansy. Will tends to kind of jump head-first into danger without thinking about it.

Thank you! I completely agree! He doesn't think before he acts and that is his tragic flaw. No one else believes me.

That is Will's biggest flaw...I'm glad you see it, and that you named it a tragic flaw, instead of just saying he's a moron and leaving it at that.

It's one of the things that makes Will so interesting to me. Like Jack, Will has a good heart, but Will isn't at the point yet of knowing enough about the nature of people to be as crafty as Jack.

So Will has that tendancy to just jump in without thinking everything through. He's not stupid (I think he showed that on the Dutchman), but at the same time, he comes up with a plan and he doesn't see how it could go wrong, or how his actions might affect others.

Elizabeth is actually very similar in this regard. Both Will and Liz have a habit of throwing themselves, heart and soul, into a situation without thinking about the consequences of that action until it's too late.

It's a wonder Jack puts up with either of them, honestly. 😆
