They come from what i have SEEN within the movies that i have watched, and how those characters make you feel when your watching them on screen 🙂
Atm jack and liz are my happy place..
it used to be buffy and spike but i guess that ended unhappily too lol.

Jack + Liz = kind of went there but theyre backing off and deciding not to go the whole hog lol.

Im sorry about your grandfather. I mean by heart. At least you are there by his side even if it's sad seeing him sick like that...but you're there with him helping him through. I will pray that he will go peacefully when he's ready.
One grandfather died...I havent seen him for 2 years. He was really sick, the last I talked to him was on my 15th b-day..he talked as if he wasn't sick. And it's ok to appoligize, we all have been in our ups and downs. I know in my heart...that we won't be dissapointed.
I don't know why but I have that song "Have a little faith in me" from benny and joon lol stuck in my head lol.

Lovely, I'm truly sorry to hear this. This just goes to show how little our worries are...who cares what happens to J and E when something like this is going on.
I can relate...that's what brought me to this forum back in July...to escape reality and to get my mind off of something horrible that someone I love very much was going through....
I put a lot of trust into J/E too...because I have loved that pairing since I saw them together in the rescue scene in the very first movie....
But...in the long run....it won't really matter who ends up with who I guess.....it's sad that this trilogy has come to this.
And I do see what Lovely is saying...IF it ends w/E then it was a mistake to introduce J/E as a bump in the road/spanner to an ultimate love ending for w/e...cuz they've messed with Jack and our image of Jack....they've showed us that he is vunerable when it comes to Liz...they've showed us that he wants her...and you can't do that with an actor like Johnny Depp and/or character like Jack Sparrow and not expect the majority of the fan base to want to see him end with that thing which he wants most in the world.....
But that's just my opinion....I love to see Johnny in a romantic lead...that's why we are all so drawn to the J/E pairing and why we are so intrigued by the kiss.....
But I have come to realize...whatever happens in the long run, after all of this, it's only a movie, mates. So enjoy and feast your eyes on Johnny that's all I have to say......but deep down inside I'm still rooting for a J/E ending....because that will make the trilogy..in my book..the best ever....the best of all time.

The compass...the friggin' compass! Why was it messing up with Jack?
Why did Jack asked "Why is the rum always gone? After he gets upset with his compass once again.
Jack sailing off to Tortuga tells me something 😉
Jack took off all them pirate's hats except Lizzy..he let her keep it!

Well said Mina...these are the things we've been using for months to rest our arguement on...and you forgot one very important thing, mate:
Why have that conversation between Norrie and Lizzie after the Persuade me scene...why make it so obvious that Norrington notices there is something going on between jack and liz.."it's a curious thing'...and she's gazing off at see with that litting biting lip smile that all girls do when they are excited and have butterflies over a man/boy....and why is she doing that...because She realises what Jack is suggesting when he said "as I said, Persuade Me"...and she likes what that implies...or else she what not be smiling......
And you are right.....MINA....in all of her conversations with Jack why doesn't she just come out and say "sorry jack, it could never work between us, I'm in love with Will, I'm going to marry Will." Does she...no... 😆
U know i heard that in AWE Jack goes back to his caniving ways from COTBP and leaves behind the cartoon tactics....they say he's more real again in AWE! <----- Im excited about that i think thats due to Jack come back from the dead, a different person!
Ahhhhhhhhh I love Jack and Lizzie and ur right MINA.....why invest so much time in the film with scenes of Jack and Liz.....or implying Jack and Liz.....WHY? WHY? WHY?
I Know the writers KNOW THAT JACK AND LIZ make the better couple because why else would they make like 85% of all 3 movies of Jack and Lizzie being of on an adventure alone together? They always stick them together while Will is always of somewhere else in a plot of his own! (I know that Means something)
even Keira said it in COTPB she rarely saw ORLANDO on set because she had very few scenes with him and they always shot on Different days!!!!
exactly...why wasn't their a passionate or heartfelt beach scene between Will and Liz...there were more scenes of connection between Jack and lIz even in the original movie...it's crazy...what are they thinking....
and then in DMC...OMG the scenes between jack and liz were taken several notches higher.....
Okay..so in COTBP
jack and liz:
Liz says "i think it would be exciting to meet a pirate" Norrie "well, think again Ms. Swann"...and Lizz says "i find it (pirates) quite fascinating"...Gov. Swann says "yes, that what worries me......okay do we think of Will as a pirate despite the fact she found the medallion on him NO!.....and what happens 8 years later... LIzzie falls over the wall after Commodore proposes to her and she's drowning...who jumps in and saves her...A Pirate...Captain jack Sparrow....
The rescue scene was so intense...Lizzie could not take her eyes off of Jack..because here in front of her was a Pirate - alive and in the flesh...and handsome and debonaire to boot. Then what does he do...captures her and holds her hostage...Ahh..silly but true...but what better way to start a hot romance (as so many romance novels do) than to have the dark handsome stranger take the beautiful feisty young maiden hostage....and what does she call him "Dispicable"...yes, that's why I was convinced it was going to be an Elizabeth Swann/Jack Sparrow romance....
But, unfortunately as the movie unfolded it was not turning out that way...and then they meet again..when once again (for the second time) Jack saves her life...by stopping the Barbossa miscreant from hitting her over the head "that's not very nice"....and Jack grabs Lizzie hand and she calls him "wretch"...gosh this was the making of a great romance ....
Then they get marooned on the Island together and I thought "now, here we go, this is better".....they shared some great moments..but she outsmarted him..got him drunk...used up all the rum and Jack exposed his inner self....especially in the deleted scene where he shows her all of his scars....
And then we have the deleted Peas in A Pod scene. the admiration in their eyes for each other was phenomenal..and I love it when he says "peas in a pod, luv"...Norrington walks up and she is all embarrased that he caught her and Jack having such an intimate talk...
Then the cave scene..we have Jack save Elizabeth's life for the third time..when he shoots Barbossa just as Barbossa is getting ready to shoot her....
The final scene...the hanging of Captian Sparrow...the way Jack looks at her when he says "Elizabeth, it would never have worked between us, darling, I'm sorry"...and the look on Liz's face.....(i love the writers comment in the commentary ...they say her look says "shut-up Jack, you're saying too much" makes you wonder how far she was willing to go on that island or in fact how far she did go.)......
And then we have Jack sailing off into the Horizon singing the song that Liz taught him to sing on the Island and looking at his ever-loving Compass...."really bad eggs...yo.ho.ho..."
I was like...man, why didn't she end up with jack...but I loved the movie overall because I thought Johnny Depp was wonderful, fabulous and hot as Captain Jack...and I couldn't get enough of him...I watched it so many times....after I had finally broke down and rented it...I ran out to buy it (this was probably a year after it was out).
Will/Liz moments:
Well, when the are kids..
When she comes down the stairs 8 years later..too much of wimp to even call her by her name..."Miss Swann"....
When he rescues her from the cave (after he viciously knocked Jack over the head)
then on the Dauntless with the Medallion (but I didn't feel any great connection between the two)
In the cave...fighting together....no great chemistry there....
Then when he lets the opportune moment pass....I still didn't see what she saw in this guy..when the real man was standing just a few feet away from her....
Then in the end "I should have told you in the beginning, I love you."
Still no words of love confession from Liz...just a statement by siding with him in protecting and helping Jack escape...
and their Kiss..."no he's a pirate"...I was like, "yeah, right, whatever"....I hated that part..I thought was the fruitest part of the whole entire movie and the worst line...but that's okay. I still loved every single moment with Jack....
