Spiderman vs Thing

I'd go with Ben in this fight. I think it's more conceivable for Spiderman to eventually tire from the fight allowing Ben to get in a few key shots than it is for Spiderman to find a way to put Ben down for the count given his durability and the rules of this forum.

I kinda doubt that Spider-Man would tire before the Thing would... but I'm not that knowledgeable about Thing's feats

iirc, the Thing is suppose to be one of those bricks who can exert his body at nearly peak capacity for about a day before he starts to weaken. But I could be wrong about that. 😕

Yeah, but Spider-Man has an insane level of stamina as well

I know. It's just that in this fight all Ben really has to do is punch as thanks to his durability he can just stand there and take everything Spiderman throws at him. While Spiderman has to make sure to avoid every single one of Ben's attacks in addition to making some kind of offensive attacks of his own. Which is why I tend to think that Spiderman would eventually get worn out before Ben would. I just see him being forced to use his mobility and agility as he lacks a extreme level of durability.

Spiderman doesn't really have to punch him. He can throw him, web his eyes, use his web to spin him until he's dizzy enough for Spidey to suffocate him or.....Poke his eyes out.

IS spidey 15 or 20 tons now?
After he came out of the cocoon he was 15 right? But his actual strength now hasnt been officially spicified i think.
not that it really matters in this fight. Im just wondering.

Oh and spidey could just break a web cartridge on ben, encasing him in a webbing fluid prison for an hour.
In that hour there are alot of things spidey can do to ben.
-Throw him in liquid metal (carry him to nearest metal plant)
-web his breathing pasages till thing dies.
-carry thing to the top of the tallest building. then swing ben over around and around , then throw him up as far as spidey can.
When ben hits street level he would maybe get ko'ed at least.
-ect, ect 😎

Well.... you have to remember that Spider-Man can be invisible now as well.... so avoiding the Thing's attacks will be pretty easy

A Hulk thunderclap made him dizzy for a few moments. If Thing could reproduce that effect he'd be able to hit Spidey (and thus win the fight). If not, there's no way he lays a finger on him.

Spiderman wins. In ASM #1, the Thing couldn't lay a hand on him. Pete's gotten better. We've seen Spiderman take on foes higher on the food chain thant Ben, so we know he has enough strength to fight him. So Spiderman wins 7/10.

Also in the ASM #1, Ben could on lift 5 tons and was as weak as they come 😐

Spidey's punches arent going to hurt Ben considering he has taken MUCH worse

Even while extremely fatigued, it would harldy pay a toll on Spidey to dodge the slow-moving (In Spidey's eyes) Thing.

Thing isn't going to get a shot in here unless Spidey lets him. Why would he do that? No need to worry about it--he won't.

This is most accurately a non-fight.

And, in my opinion, the SLIGHTEST advantage towards Spidey.

Can't hurt what you can't catch.

I give Spidey a slight majority due to webbing. I think he can wear Benjy down before he'd get in a good, fight-ending punch, though it's highly debatable. The webbing makes the difference for me.

As for the thunderclap question, an amped Hulk (his anger, thus his strength, was ultra-amped by some gamma virus) once defeated Spidey with a thunderclap.

When the Grey Hulk landed a thunderclap, followed by a punch on Spidey, Spidey just rode out the impact via webbing, turned the momentum around, and swung right back at Fixit to land a flying kick to the head. Their fight was unconcluded, BTW.
