So this thread is here to point out the Inconsistencies/Continuity f**k ups of various characters (provide scans if you've got them)
To start us off... Wolverine (you knew it was coming)
Healing powers, recently Wolverine has been shown as being practically invincible:
But this was not always the case. First, (Wolverine #165) Mauvis removed and ate his eye:
He was still wearing the eyepatch in issue #169 as it hadn't fully healed until then
Then there was the Wendigo incident (issues 129/130)

Obviously this thread was inspired by Wolverine .... and I'm not even one of these supposed "haters" .... or why would I have all these issues to use as examples? ... but feel free to post proof of any character whose continuity has been shat on for the sake of a "cool" new feat.
Being in the Pitt (was that the name of the prison?) Wolverine had no healing factor when Mauvias ate his eye. So he had no eye when his healing factor kicked back in to gears so maybe it took his body awhile to figure out something was wrong? Anyway a lot of the time Wolverine's healing factor is dumbed down to make a story work out the writer provides a reason for it (Like Way's set up in his Origins and Endings arc which lead up to the Origins Series).
Anyway you should have showed how Wolverine was apparently knocked for some time out in the plane crash in the issue before Wolverine 44 where he fought the Crusader... and yet the infamous feat in 44 only took him out of commission for moments. Although I do think that incineration was more artistic interpretation in line with the cartoon style of the story... IMO argue that Nitro incinerated Logan is like arguing that Logan as a three foot long neck.

And then spends the rest of his time Surfing around like a Dragonball Z reject. IMO Superman, isn't really that inconsistent anymore. Since Morissons JLA run, he's generally been depicted on the same level.
