Exactly. If the writer said that flash pulled off that feat going two hundred miles per hour, that just means the writer has little common sense, and didn't think the act through very well - it DOESN'T mean that the Flash could go any faster than 200 miles per hour. In the end, it's the writers that make the ultimate decisions; there is no need for us to calculate how fast the Flash was going - we were told.
If you take the narration over actual on panel feats that can be easily proven, then your opening up a whole can of worms for yourself, imagine if we actually did what you said.
We would be takig the narration of SvsFL as fact, we would be taking the narration of Silver Surfer being beaten with a brick, we would be taken the narration of every character that they are only class 15 when they have done class 50 feats such as Venom (he was labeled as class 15 for a while), or class 60 but they have done class 100 feats such as ben.
Flash traveled at I think it was twenty trillion times the speed of light? I dont remember the exact number ill check later, and you dont like that because it means he can curbstomp other characters.
That and the speed force does protect him and others, he can not only share this durability, he can also lend and take speed, and all kinitic energy, including the very energy of energy blast, and the very energy that holds you together.
