Wolverine's worst feat was having an army of fanboys lead Marvel into ruining his character 😐

Looks pretty even!

I was just getting ready to say something about that.

you want owning.....go to Sentry/Wolverine Sneak Preview😖hifty:

Hey, guys. Does anyone have that image of Wolverine getting KOed by that deer? I really need it. 😛

I started disliking Logan once he started appeareng everywhere and is now being compared to Classic Juggernaut, GFW Godzilla(or any for that matter), Thanos, and Galactus. That's just stupid.

Wolverine can support up to 2 tons and more. His adamantium bones almost make it look like he's got enhanced strength when in reality he's just got bones that won't break no matter how much stress is on them.

Any weightlifter who's lifted weights for a long time knows that you can lift more weight than your bones can support. A friend of mine tried to bench 400 and he snapped his wrists. Now if wolverine tried it, he would struggle but he'd know he doesn't have to be careful due to unbreakable bones.

Just a thought.

Characters change. Iceman would still be a street-level snowman if he stayed like he was originally written. And I saw a recent comic where Juggernaut needed to ask him for help.

🙄

digi did u even look at what I was quoting ?

That's pretty suprising. I know quite a few folks that can bench 400, and the worst injury any of them got was blisters from not using gloves..

Pah-lease!!
You even like to throw around your logic into the garbage can feat.
You even brought up a real website, so you could back that up. Other than that, he has never been shown to be in the ton range.
And even then, the thing in real life is 1600 pounds.

I don't want to start a debate, but, he really hasn't shown this.

When has he shown this strength anyway?

When he wrestled with a man under water and tossed him (while underwater) from one side of the pool to the other with enough force to crack the concret wall? When he tossed the dumpster? When he wrestled and over powered a great white shark? When he went to a small fishing village where a shark was trapped in a net and draggin the dozen or so people holding the next across the beach... and Wolverine pushed them aside, grapped the next and stood there like an oak? When he held an elevator? When he caried the Hulk on his back from the Savage Lands to the X Mansion? Better question is where has ever shown that 800lbs is is max? Hint: The answer is never.

Nono, the other way around, its easier to support than lift. His bones allow him to support substansial amounts as well.

srank answered it for me. trust me I have proven this countless time with scanns. im not at home at the moment, but every thing srank said is true

I will say that Wolverine can possibly support nearly one ton.

I will not say he exceeds a ton. I haven't seen proof of this.
The two most impressive feats I have seen were him bringing Hulk back from the Savage Land...which is refutable. There's no way to be completely certain exactly how much of that was through an alternate means of transportation. I have the very same comic book and I can tell you that you assume too much if you think Wolverine has lifted him and dragged him the entire distance. He probably didn't even have to lift him out of the Savage land. Most of the locals probably helped.

The other impressive feat was in the first issue of Wolverine's solo series. He had something like 10 or 12 men on him. Now these weren't huge men but he was walking with them on his back and even shrugged them off after a while. Doing some minor math he probably lifted something in the area of 1,500 lbs. Roughly. I doubt it was a ton.

I've never seen him lift a ton. I would say he could probably lift something in the area of 1,650 lbs. That's pushing for him as well. None of the feats stated so far put him in the one ton range.

He's close though. Exactly how much of that is due to his Skeletal structure can't be certain or what all pertains to it because Marvel will never make up their minds as to exactly how powerful they want him to be.

I don't hate Wolverine. I actually really like him, but I don't think he needs such ravenous support as we see on a regular basis. Not just on this forum either. Pretty much all over Wolverine's fans are unreasonable and absurd. Proof in fact is his fight with Lobo which was based on fan votes. That's ridiculous. Wolverine wouldn't be able to take down Lobo in a hundred years and that's exactly what makes Wolverine unappetizing to those of us that have been reading comics for quite a while now. Sometimes his fans can do that to you.

Wolverine is a great character.

And I honestly don't see why it is such a stretch for him to lift two tons max.

I don't think he is a bad character really, sometimes he is written badly and his fans get a little overzealous, but then again most characters have suffered from that at one time or another.

He is an interesting character at any rate, and I do tend to like the agressive types.

I don't know for sure about his strength, but I was always under the impression that he was a little above peak human and able to lift 1-2 tons.

Still it would be funny to see him get killed off, even if the only reason would be to rub it into the fanboy's faces. 😛

I thought you said you didn't have a scanner???? 😒

You don't need a scanner to have access to scans, maybe he has the sites linked at home and can't access them from where he is now. 😉
