ya I put him in the 2 tons range as well. I can prove it in about a week if any one wants me too
Meh, 1 - 1.5 seems a little more realistic. Two to Three thousand pounds? Yeah...that seems about where I'd put Wolverine's limit.
And don't bring up his feats to me - I know them by heart:
Chunking a dumpster (as to which we have NO idea of the weight), fighting a shark (T'Challa's stopped rhino's and elephants - is he ten tons? Well hell no.), punching someone hard enough to break concrete (even under water - something that seems well within the range of most peak humans), and holding an elevator (more a testament to the unbreakable skeleton and iron grip than actual lifting strength).
If I missed any of the common ones, I apologize, but they really aren't enough to make me gauge wolverine at four thousand pounds. That seems a bit excessive. Daredevil played with four hundred pounds casually, and flipped a limo - those seem like (at least) equally impressive feats. Captain America benched a ton like it was a warm up, and tossed an eight hundred pound woman into the air without a sweat - those seem like equally (if not more) impressive feats to me. Not to mention the fact that I'd put Captain America about at Wolverine's strength level, and Daredevil just a bit beneath each of them.
Eh, though, to each their own.

He had no business trying to lift anything over a friggin' gallon of milk.

He's got one or two VAGUE feats that put him roughly at a half ton or so.Anything over a ton is just wrong.

what the hell are you talking about. wolverine has through a shark from the water on a boat. has thrown a dumpster with one arm. has pulled a shark when 12 people could not. Thats just a few of his feats that easiliy put him over 1000 pounds
I pulled a half ton sack of bread crumbs once... doesn't mean I could lift it
