You Scored as: Satanism
Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Satanism! Before you scream, do a bit of research on it. To be a Satanist, you don't actually have to believe in Satan. Satanism generally focuses upon the spiritual advancement of the self, rather than upon submission to a deity or a set of moral codes. Do some research if you immediately think of the satanic cult stereotype. Your beliefs may also resemble those of earth-based religions such as paganism.

You scored as atheism.
You are... an atheist, though you probably already knew this. Also, you probably have several people praying daily for your soul. Instead of simply being "nonreligious," atheists strongly believe in the lack of existence of a higher being, or God.

I'm amused at the low score I got for Christianity...considering that I was raised in a Catholic family.
BTW, Satanism has absolutely nothing to do with Satan, contrary to the name.

Dually noted. Satanists, or at least the vast majority of them, will tell you that they live by the standards of what the figure Satan represents: free will, independent thinking, Earthly pleasure, and the spiritual advancement of ones self.

The ones who know what they're talking about, anyway. There's always going to be some idiots who go "durrr, I worship Satan!"
...out of the gene pool, please.

I just could never figure out Anton LaVey, personally. He seemed too much like a Hollywood Satanist to me. He had some very good philosophical points, and I own some of his publications, but I can't decide whether or not he is just in it for shock value. Do you agree?

I admittedly know little about him himself. I do know a bit about Satanism and the philosophies surrounding it, though, and while I find some of it a bit silly, and I certainly think that the name "Satanism" is definitely for shock value, a lot of the things contained in the philosophy do make very good points.
You scored as agnosticism.
You are an agnostic. Though it is generally taken that agnostics neither believe nor disbelieve in God, it is possible to be a theist or atheist in addition to an agnostic. Agnostics don't believe it is possible to prove the existence of God (nor lack thereof). Agnosticism is a philosophy that God's existence cannot be proven. Some say it is possible to be agnostic and follow a religion; however, one cannot be a devout believer if he or she does not truly believe.

Sounds about right. Ask me what I am and I'll say Catholic, but Im catholic in the way that my family was, which is closer to Paganism.
Originally posted by ImpedimentMy Mothers Family is Italian, and alot of her aunts were strega aka witches, but they worshiped much in a way similair to roman catholicism, using the saitns as dieties and adapting thier practices to thier old way. I................don't get it, babe. 😛 Care to elaborate?
