actually...they are. since italian is a vulgar form of Latin. spanish, portuguese and all the other romance language are derived from Latin. which would make this statement true. as there WAS a group of people called Latin who fought against the Etruscans during the early days of Italy. actually...they are. since italian is a vulgar form of Latin. spanish, portuguese and all the other romance language are derived from Latin. which would make this statement true. as there WAS a group of people called Latin who fought against the Etruscans during the early days of Italy.
