STORY
Dimension Quest
UEF Earth 7032
the year is 7032 in earth years, there are many breakthroughs in technology and the Earth has united under a single banner, UEF (united Earth federation) space travel is second nature to most, development of near immortality, weapons to destroy planets, swallow suns and laser rifles, mechs and the like are the technology of the day, they are marveling at the technology of AI, thousands of Robotic machines built for war, and the ability to create almost any form of weapon or object out of pure energy, to build cities, vehichles and weapons or entire armies within a few hours.
through Earths new space folding ability, they were able to manipulate the fragments of space to allow them to move anywhere in the universe, from this however they have made weaknesses in dimensions, creating rips or wormholes into diffrent realities
Earth had found an entire set of Universes conected by wormholes, special lands and alternate existances.
Magic lands
from another view point in the story however there is the magi council, a powerful council of magic users who live in the Mageverse, the Magi council are simply nomadic mages, who flock together to store knowledge in the ancient archives, they are based in a secret temple where they have knowledge of many events. A sudden occurance has startled them, the protective portal that the master of the Mageverse created years ago has been breached by several unknown metalic objects and they are preparing to warn the Gods of this disturbance as it could be a threat to the Mageverse
The Mageverse is a set of 5 dimensions of unvierses coupled together by magical portals and gates , each dimension is alligned to a specific element, Water/Ice, Fire/Air,nature, Darkness and light. Each dimension has beasts, and creatures that live on it, Races, cities and are ruled by a special godlike entity called an Eternal, who is the master of the element, these Eternals however are not as powerful as the Grand high magestor, master of the mageverse and the creator, and who lives on a special elemental plane in the center of the five Dimension portals, he sometimes journeys down to have tea and biscuites with the Eternals who listen to his wise council and various stories, he even journeys to areas where lowly peasants dwell in small castles to join birthday parties and festivals that he enjoys very much, he is a white bearded old fellow who likes listen to music and cast spells to dazzle the children or those who do not know magic too well
The Eternals are all peaceful and respect echother, they are like a family, where they are brothers and sisters, and their races who they look after are like their children. the Mageverse is a place of mystery, adventure, magic and such, a place where Huge battles between armies of nomads wielding magic and swords clash, or where giants and warriors join to become dragon slayers, or simply where simple farm folk live and enjoy daily lives
(this world is a bit like Middle earth and such for a brief summary, only with tonens more magic and is set over five entire universes instead of 1 world )
Earth 2100
this is an Earth found by the UEF, in this alternate universe they have made allies, this place was peculier, diffrent from the Earth they remember from the year 2100, although they still had similiar technology of the year such as bullet type weapons and nuklear weaponry, they had mastered another few cells of the brain and had extreme reflexes, hearing, sight, spead and an immunity to disease and a weak type of regeneration so that small cuts can take a few seconds to heal and perhaps whole limbs after a few hours. These peoples also used their new brain cellls to power weak telekenieses and mind reading, some masters could control minds but this was an illegal act, both Earths joined forces but were uneasy, and the cruel hearted Guild called the Illuminate would not stand for technology, and looked on it as an abomination and so could start trouble within the UEF
all of these Dimensions have knowledge of eachother, the Mageverse has very little and only see UEF ships, these could end up starting a war across Dimensions, the Illumanate are uneasy about the technological ways of the UEF who are always expanding into dimensions, to find new lands and realms of the unknown, all these people however are ignarent to the darkness that is warping throughout dimensions and universes to consume all knowledge and Technology, this Ancient Alien Race wants a special set of Relics found in both the Mageverse and one of the Earths, but what one and what will they do with these relics of they found them, only time will tell
RULES
-ABSOLUTLEY NO GODMODING, this goes for those who are the Eternals, who control planet destroying space cruisers or those who simply are extremely fast and powerful or who are gods. start reasonably basic, however you can play any Eternal slot, theres only 5, Fire/air, Ice/Water, Dark, light and nature Eternal beings, so those who ask first may get the slot, however that doesnt mean you are all powerful, Eternals are simply immortal high level powered wizards, you cannot shape worlds, destroy cities or kill anyone too easily, and you are not invulnerable, also you cannot use guns
-key characters cannot die.....they can be wounded, or runaway or be defeated, but you cannot go to middle Earth with a mech tank or somethin and laser blast Gimli's ass, its cruel and unfair.....the players controlling the key characters must show weakness and defeat at times however depending on your character and realism, this also goes for planets, you cannot blow middle earth into pieces with nukes, or blow up major planets in the Mageverse with powerful ship lasers, nor can Eternals or the Magestor (who i play) cannot simply blow planets or mess them up either unless its a worthless one or there are no key objects or people on it or to do with it.....Earth cannot be smashed either.....however planets may come under threat and need ot be defended by those who want it
-no player bashing or small 1 line posts unless completly unavoidable
-no creating dimensions without the acception of me and the rest of the players
-when selling items, its the same for godmoding, selling nukes would be foolish, especially if a players is selling them for a tiny amount
-Battle system between players ofcourse players will prob fight, in this RP your character CAN die and may happen to many characters in the progress of the RP, fights must be fair, ofcourse ime not going to stop unfair fights, but players if they really dont want to fight someone can say, and the oppresor should stand down unless they are natural or True enemies, however once a fight has started players should fight realistically, a normal man cant defeat a 200ft tall monster easily, nor could he scale a city wall, destroy a battle cruiser or anything liek that in one post.....people fighting must say what they are attacking with, and then then those who they are attacking get to say what they do to try and stop this...ofc to avoid godmoding, you must do realistic things, you cannot always dodge bullets as a normal human, if at all, or break someones sword with your finger, which would be ridiculous, in the end, i will try and make a fair ending to some battles if people are constantly fighting but getting nowhere if they are constantly dodging eachothers moves for several pages. In the end of a battle, i may call who is dead, or who is not, trust me...i will be fair, however dont get into fights that you have no hope of surviving, a normal man with baseball bat VS 1000 laser gun armed soldiers is not good ods 😄
if your character does die, it may be resurrected far away from where you died OR, you may be captured by the enemy which would be a random event created by me to make things interesting at times, or perhaps you just die and make a new character
