Maybe Jack and Liz admit feelings for each other but then Will (unknowingly) pressures her to marry him b4 he dies...and well how can u say no to that when u were once engaged to married!!! So maybe Jack and Liz split cause of Will's final wish! ay i get a feeling we are going to see a very heartbroken Jack in this movie!

right. because in this version its barbossa (?) marrying them... and he obviously dies at some point, right? saving jack from the kraken, on the pearl?
this would have to be a dream, or it would change the entire plot.

Perhaps they are filming several different endings and then no one will really know how it will actually end until the premeire comes out.
I agree with Kate and Lovely...the scene where Jack and Gibbs are toasting the two wenches crying...Jack explaining things to them...maybe Jack dreams that he and Liz get married....or Liz does...or who knows?????!!!
All this talk is driving me mad. I watched Pirates of the Caribbean Curse of the Black Pearl again last night....it's funny how after seeing DMC there are so many clues in that movie too that point to Jack and Liz are meant to be together.
exactly....cus I was constantly thinking how it could have easily been Jack and Liz in COTBP....I use to listen to songs back then and think about them..I always visualized that they secretly loved each other...and then somehow...it's coming true...hopefully....
In watching it.....in the beginning young Liz says "I think it would be exciting to meet a pirate"...then a little later she tells her dear old dad "acutally I find it all fascinating" and he says "I know, that what worries me"....
Well.....who is the exciting Pirate she meets...Jack Sparrow...and that meeting definitely leaves a lasting impression on her...cuz Will is not a Pirate at that point...he may have Pirate blood in him, but he's not a pirate and it definitely was not all that exciting how she and Will meet...
then when the handmaiden says "it must have been terrifying for you being held by that Pirate and all"
And Liz says "oh yes, terrifying" NOT...look at that look on her face..she is thinking about how great it was to meet him...a real, true Pirate...who even held her hostage..now how exciting is that! And she got to up close and personal with him "easy on the goods, luv"...."you're dispicable"...."sticks and stones, luv.." etc...Love that scene.
And of course, the deleted Peas in a Pod scene and some of the great island scenes that show much closer contact and meaningful conversations between Liz and Jack...like when he exposes his scars to her....
Its funny people think Jack is saying "peas in a pod" to her because she says "I dont think I trust you" and him saying that means "I dont trust you either" but I dont think thats what he meant because:
1. He got up close to her to say it
2. She was lost in his eyes.
3. She spots Norrington and is like "oh shit..umm..yes so where was I?"
IMO he was saying.."we're peas in a pod(soul mates), you can trust me"..and she is just lost for words and completley lost in his eyes there..Its a very telling moment.
